The most 100m and 200m SP characters should get is a special forum title that shows up under their portrait.

Just having 100m+ skill points is a sufficient reward in and of itself in the actual game.

I vote no, given that skill queues are now virtually unlimited. Loyalty rewards should only apply to people who have not only been around for a while, but also those who log in regularly to actually do stuff, and contribute to the community. I vote no for free stuff even for that, no one should be getting free stuff for anything, contributing to the community is its own reward if you do it right. But if it ever happens, it better be for something worthwhile.

Nice idea, let's take this a step further:

At 100M SP, you have become a famous EVE-celebrity and all of New Eden is aware of your presence.
- Locator agents will track you down for free
- You will be blinking gold on d-scan
- at 150 M SP, you will show up in local even in wormholes
- at 200M SP, your mere presence in any system will create a warpable signature viewable by every other pilot.

Jealous much? Without our input over the years, you wouldn't have that EVE that you have now.

Noobs always assume that with many skillpoints comes much isk. This is not the case and no I do not want to sit in a coffin waiting desperatly for PL to gank it, so I can ship down again.

According to CCP Fozzie, the endgame is to finally fly a sooper-dooper boat but it is actually, train everything to V.

What noobs want the second all veterans have left is skillpoints for killing rats in asteroid belts and remove and re-apply skillpoints into every flavor of the next five years omg-wtf-bbq-solo-pwn-mobile.

Why spend time and money if you need all of it raiht naaooow...

Eve Minions is recruiting.

I have already received my 200m SP reward.

No need for anything else.

Being plugged into Jovian technology all these years, the reward would be the option to become a Jove. Since Jove is not a playable race, CCP would "take over" this character and I lose access to this character (and thus the account). The reward would be to see ~me~ involved in story lines and other events.

The counterbalance would be to have another active account and thus starting from square one without the thought of, "Hmm, what can I train now for a while?"

I've changed bank 4 times since I started playing EVE.
I've moved 6 times
My face has changed 3 times (I was Asian at one point, so I've changed Race as well 'technically', but not bloodline)
I've blown up and been blown up enough times to go from 'shakes - to giggles' when it happens.

Really do not need any 'more stuff' .. already got way more stuff that I can ever use / enjoy.

I would enjoy seeing people's skill points (to the nearest 10mill) as an optional overlay to the avatars on the forums.

Since you can buy characters in eve , a char's SP and time played means jack ****.

Unless you can somehow verify that your character is truly the original.

And thank you for referencing char's rather than using Toon.

I AM the Original owner of this 11 year old char , so no i have not used the word ''toon'' since i started playing eve Blink.

And with that said , no even if CCP can verify that i am the Original owner , wich CCP can see from my rl info they have and wich has not changed over the years appart from an email adress , i do not want nor need anything ''special' for still being around. That is something that CCP themselves has done , not me as i would not still be here if CCP delivered a shitgame.

I was not saying "you", i meant it in a general term. pardon.

And "Toon" was a term that alerted others that the person really did not get eve.

A reward system based on SP amount would discourage low-SP / SP-Focused alts. These are a critical part of the gameplay and should not be disenfranchised.

An MMO would normally reward you for subscription time, but since the advent of Character Transfer and PLEX, that too would be inappropriate.

No thanks.

Op has a good point,

I've been here since May 2003, and I have been a loyal player who passed 100m sp a long time ago. We get loyalty points in our local supermarket so why not in a game?

We were supposed to get a 10 year veteran station, that fell through. Maybe a 10 year veteran skin for the noobship of your characters race? Golden Ibis anyone?
