Hey

Ive been very interested in FW since returning to EvE and would like to know what other pilots recommend for these missions. Ive read up on a few forums but nothing specificly for Caldari FW missions.

I will be looking to be join the Caldari state vs Gallente but doing some FW missions in my spare time when not popping some Gallente

Ive read that a lot of people run these missions in Stealth Bombers. Is this the same for Caldari FW Missions? Ive heard that stealth bombers are great for the Amarr and Minmatar missions. Would a Nemesis be good to pop Gallente FW missions?

Also, because my character is fairly new, would you recommend on leaving these missions until a much higher skillpoint amount and just PvP for the time being or are FW missions good for ISK at any skillpoint level?

Its been a long time since I've run Faction Warfare missions but I understand they pay well in LP, especially when your faction is at a decent tier.

You can run Caldari FW missions in a stealth bomber, currently I only think Gallente have a tough time running them with one. They often opt for an Ishtar using the microwarpdrive-cloak trick in my experience.

You'll want to first plex enough to gain enough standing to run level 4 missions though. Anything less really isn't worth the time and will be tough to complete in a SB since the targets are too small to effectively use torpedos against.

And even once you can run level 4 missions, only take the missions where you have to kill one or two large targets. Grinding small targets in a stealth bomber or a whole host of NPCs in a stealth bomber isn't very fun or time efficient.

Looks like im going to have some fun PvPing in Plex's for a while then first of all to get to grips with FW and then jump into some Lvl 4's when I have the standings :)

Abannans is right. As information about FW mission running is not readily available take his advice.

Whilst a stealth bomber is decent in the short term, a Marauder (Golem or Kronos) is definitely want you want to aim for to get maximum isk efficiency. For now get Gallente and Caldari Battleship skills to 3 or 4 and use a Barghest whilst you train up for the Marauder.

I find the Tengu is most efficient.

Cheap and works fine. BUT you need experience which missions to pick and which ones not.
Additionally always warp to mission, abort and then warp again cloaked on minimum 20. Wait a minute, watch dscan, try mission. Watch ALWAYS dscan.

FW mission PVE difficulties:
1.) Minmatar easiest.
2.) Caldari (easy)
3.) Amarr (covert ops 5 needed tbh)
4.) Gallente no clue but prolly almost undoable.

FW mission PVP difficulties (idiots hunting you):
1.) Amarr is easiest because mintard militia is bear militia. Worst case is that random pirate hunts you.
2.) Minmatar (lots of hunting..)
3,) Caldari (actually hard due to pies and galmil very getakill focused)
4.) NO CLUE ABOUT GAL CAUSE SEE PVE DIFFICULTY.

Btw CCP thx for all the bomber kills but how shall we explain all the nullsec carrier bears we are making more isk/h with 3-4 month old bomber toon in lowsec in 30mil bomber than carrier ratting in 2b ship in null?

Gallente mission farmers use ishtars and t3's to do missions. MWD+cloak in all fittings too.

The trolls are real in this forum for sure... This may be a newbie character but don't waste your time and effort trying to troll.

I have experience in EvE but not in FW, so this was a genuine request for information. Please go troll elsewhere.

Because by the looks of it, the most recent post/blog regarding FW missions is back on 16 Dec 2013.

Dont you think a post 20 months ago is abit out dated?
