Hello everyone!

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post, but I thought I'd give it a shot since it technically is warfare.

How long does one think that it would take to kill a Caldari Control Tower (Large) that has been abandoned, and is anchored but offline?

I could at the moment, get 1 BS and 2 BC'S to grind away at it? How long do you guys reckon that'd it take to pop the tower in a War Dec?

I can hit for 1200dps, and that's and added 600dps I believe, just seeing if it's worth me taking it out, or just hiring a merc corp to do so.

It depends on the damage type your ships can do. A large caldari tower has 50,000,000 shield hitpoints with 25% kinetic and 50% thermal resist (assuming no hardeners are online), 4,000,000 armor hitpoints, and 4,000,000 structure hitpoints.

Assuming you had 3 max skill oracles fitted for nothing but damage (1115 dps) it would take approx 6 hours to destroy the tower.

Ah, I assumed that it'd take a bit of time to do so, maybe I'll look for other means and just go search for an empty moon!

Killing an offline tower is just a matter of time. They have a lot of hit points, but their passive recharge isn't particularly difficult to overcome.

Expect to be there for maybe two hours.

With the dps she says she has on hand it's closer to 5 or 6 I would have thought.

Imo either get some afk Oracle's if you want to do it yourself, pay mercenaries to kill it (cost of wardec + their time) or just find another moon.
