NPC damage increase ?

My ratting ship never drops below half shields, but yesterday I was down to 10% armor and had to warp out.

Did anyone else notice this, and has there been a stealth increase in NPC damage over the weekend ?

Who put the goat in there?

1) a hardener/mod was offline
2) you put in the wrong hardener/mod
3) you messed with the circadian seekers and they came to your mission/ratting site and started shooting you

What does your combat log say and if it's only the rats, is the damage significantly different from previous logs?

Your shield never drops below 50%, that sounds kind of boring unless your only interest is farming isk/rep.

If they haven't made rats harder, maybe they should.

Exactly the same ship, same fittings and the same class of site as a few days before, so nothing changed.

All hardeners were online, no other ships were there, seekers or otherwise. I'll check the logs when I get home.

And yeah, I rat for Isk, no other reason.

i have noticed that sometimes when you 'fit' using the in game tool as opposed to manually doing it it will sometimes not put all the defensive mods on till you 'put' them on a second time. perhaps you were short a defense mod and didnt know it.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

99/100 times its a case of player error or mishap, like fitting the wrong type or quality of hardener, or maybe the wrong rigs.

In those oddball cases where it wasn't your ship that was the issue, was there an incursion going on in that area that you didn't notice? Could you have encountered a rare ship that was officer quality that shot directly into your damage hole? Did the sleepers decide to play outsider their wormholes once more? Could a passing ganker have fired a few volleys, died to CONCORD, and you weren't aware of it due to overview blinders on?

Edit: was your overview not updated to include the new tactical destroyers and there was a ganker working his hardest that you didn't see?
