OUCH... there jackets and shirts had the logo of the CODE alliance in-game on them. so what happens when you take in-game ideals and put this to use in RL??

Terrorism!!

So The CODE is under investigation for Global Terrorism, that means they'll be out of game soon. Maybe I will come back just to watch.

Does Dinsdale know that you've been snorting his stash?

Well I've trying submitting a ticket to resolve this issue, but CCP is more worried about Nul-sec than high-sec so it seems. after this post I'll be suspending all 7 of my accounts. I've been playing since December 2003 but this game has gone down since I started playing so much I can't enjoy it anymore. so farewell to all I WON'T be BACK!!

If you have been playing this game since 2003, and this is the first time you have been ganked, than you, sir, should include another ticket. Why? Because you have been cheated out of the real game for over a decade. CCP owes you a refund.

Some countries are using the prison population to mine for PLEX to pay for red cross efforts. (Holy ****, thats a good fckin idea!)

Also just to comment before this gets locked, game mechanics exist to be exploited. Keep in mind exploiting them is not the same as breaking them.

Yet another pathetic attempt to equate what one does in a GAME with how one would behave in REALITY. Did you miss the "RP" in the "MMORPG"?

The best way to tell if someone is an IRL terrorist is definitely to base it off how they play a video game.

I think the two PLEX he lost on the Jita undock in a Condor last week may have something to do with this post, probably more than the Covetor.

See this is the problem OP - there is absolutely no excuse for getting ganked in Jita if you are paying attention - undock/dock BMs and you are safe....so losing your ships, and especially 2 plex is what encourages the gankers even more!

As for CODE - although I don't agree with their ethos, they are adding something to the game, however annoying it may be. It encourages people to be more careful with their fits, be more careful about monitoring local. If you see CODE in system and dont want to risk being ganked - leave system - but keep monitoring.
So far in my Eve life, with my multitude of toons, I've only been suicide ganked once - it taught me a valuable lesson - so learn from CODE rather than cry....and if you really hate them, then join a corp to work on ganking them. They are -10 sec status so all opening attackable - get even!

He missed the MMO bit, imagined a 7 after the letters RPG and came up with terrorists...

Liar.

But I know it the same thing to you. botting or live mining. bot/afk mining is just an excuse to kill.

Botting is against the EULA. Deal with it.

And this is EVE. No-one in this game needs an excuse to kill you.

Killing you is the tasty icing on the cake.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

It's an RMT thing.

Which is also violating the EULA, iirc.

One of my alts was ganked and podded a few days ago while mining in a fleet op in high-sec. Earlier in local chat while 3 CODE members where on I was told that AFK, BOT, Fleet or ALT mining would be no longer allowed. You must stay in local chat to answer a question asked of you (usually in Russian(which I don't know)). I was also told that I would be podded over and over again till I ether bough a permit or quit playing. well CCP doesn't seem to care unless they follow you around. players justify this saying:

Quote:
Gankers are not exploiting game mechanics, they accept the penalties and plan around them, they are simply making better use of existing mechanics than their targets are.

Not true, here's a quote from MinerBumping's web site:

Quote:
Concord has a range of 150km. If they're already in the ice field and you attack a Mackinaw within 150km, they will stop you instantly. But if Concord is 150km or more away, they may as well be on the moon. They'll take the entire 18 seconds to respond. Most miners are unaware of this, so when they see umpteen Concord ships in the ice field, they'll assume they're safe. But if Concord is 150km away, the miner is actually less safe than if no Concord were in the system.

So to fix this they do this:

Quote:
Spawning Concord is easy, and they generally stay in system until the next downtime. Get your fleet into rookie ships (or any cheap ship with a gun) and have them fire on a secure container or something else that doesn't belong to them. Do it simultaneously, and you'll have a Concord squad spawned in for each of you. This will also draw away any Concord that may be loitering in the ice field.

That's EXPLOTING game mechanics.

They've actually full on stated that is in fact, not an exploit. It's legal.
