I think that the saying "know thyself" is a good answer for your question. Both are great ships, but your piloting playstyle does factor into which would be better ( for you ).The Jackdaw is a bit more forgiving and more suited to straight up in your face brawl. Having said that, a kitey well flown Confessor can be a real challenge ( or Pulse and high damage can be nasty ). I generally try to think of what a ship can do devoid of implants or boosts and I can't find a real fault with either of these platforms. My only hesitation with the Confessor is that it - like all Amarr ships - is susceptible to neuts and this reduces it's initial engagement profile (if your using an active setup). Last the Fess can't use all 4 damage types which can be huge and shouldn't be ignored.

So for me base and fitted - not on drugs or linked:

Speed - Fess
Dmg Versatility - Jack
Tank - Jack
Neut Susceptibility - Fess
Dmg Potential - edge to the Fess (really depends on your fit)
Looks like it should be a can opener - toss up.

I'm by no means an expert, just speaking from my experiences. No matter what - fly for the experience and let your killboard be damned.

Hello!

I´m pretty new in eve and i want to fly an T3 destroyer (mainly solo) in fw. I know that Svipul are very good for solo pvp, but i dont like them. i want to play confessor or jackdaw but i dont know what i should prefer for solo pvp.

I think they're both viable but fly quite differently. Just fit up a few and go try them out. Its the only way to know which one you prefer. If you want to know which one we all think you should prefer... the answer is clearly the Svipul.
