I would like to see some mecha too.

Gunjack, sounds similar to a name of weaponized machine, rather than a person's name.

*shrugs* it could be project nemesis' name, it could be one of the other VR projects they were working on, or something we have no idea about. I know back in 2013 they were working on a 5th project that had no name. I thought that might of been Legion, but... maybe something is ready to drop soon? I think it was this way all the time: as Dust is losing people because PS3 is breaking apart fairly nicely, they are taking features for this game, Legion or this something new, and implementing hastily what can be easily implemented there. DUST is a testing ground.

Assumption by me: They renamed Legion into Gunjack, to avoid legal issues with EA because of Legion from Mass Effect.

That's my guess too since they called Legion "Project Legion" and project usually meaning an early temp name that can change. Legion could have stuck, but I guess they felt Gunjack was a better name and so dropped Legion. I like Legion better, but whatever.

Eve char's being able to train duster/legion skills and do more than pace / prance around in station based prison cells within the project legion game engine?? ;)

Given that eve pilots do have the neural connection points in their necks, to "jack" into pods / whatever else...

Instead of jacking into a ship, jack into a tank...or a mech...and fight on the ground...

That would actually be epic. Not something everyone would be interested in of course, but still.

It would be even more interesting to see how CCP could implement the transition mechanic. There could be a new class of ship (dropships?)...or a variant of the jump clone mechanic; land a beacon and an equipment container on the surface and then jumpclone there...
