Launcher problem !!! Greyed out

Is it just my pcs that have this problem ?
I tried to reinstall launcher , but its still greyed out in play and status.
Launcher log says selfUpdate - ERROR - Error during self update

mine wont load either the website Works obviously but not the launcher

i have Waoo fibernet through Fibia. and live in denmark.

Having same problem. Launcher runs, can login but no client update and play button stays gray.

Haveing same problem. Logs in , play button greyed out .
Launcher log last lines
ConnectionError: ('Connection aborted.', error(10060, 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond'))

I tried full reinstall same result.

Same here. Theres a thread in "issues and workarounds" where other post similar results. Seems a number of players started getting issues since 2 hours back.

I have been facing this issue for the past few months - but usually it is enough to switch the language back and forth and the play button works again.

Looking for a group to pew with ? Have a chat with me.

You can bypass the launcher by running the your_eve_folder/bin/evefile.exe

Use exefile.exe directly, it worked for me !!!

Tried this, including the "back and forward" trick explained in the issues and workaround thread. No good. First time i have this issue though seem other have had this since months back. There seems to be a spike with new players reporting this issue in the last hour spread over different threads. Could be good if we start a thread bout this rising problem to get more attention and sort out if there is a spike of increased "Grey Launcher Death".

Running exefile directly works also for me!

Problem related to launcher update it seems.

Exefile.exe just starts background process for me, but does not launch the game.

Made a support ticket.

from in the eve folder run rescache.exe that fixed this process no client issue for me

That's true, although doing so prevents you from accessing the Nexus store.

Well... Compare not being able to run the game to losing access to some dumb pixel store temporarily.
