Creating another topic, since someone arbitrarily locked the previous one without any info. The original:

I wish to present to you a nullsec logistics tool - Alliance Market. It's a made from scratch open source version of now abandoned previous EveMarket. The application aims to retain all the functionality + look&feel of the previous version + some new features.

Features:

  • Alliance/coalition wide market orders.
  • Market order tracking.
  • Quick order creation from saved fittings and EFT fittings.
  • Logistics tools for quick and easy mass-buying and contracting.
  • Loot buyback.

I use this tool daily, and run a corpwide shipping service/buyback from it. It's genuinely the tool I've dreamed of, and the developer has been amazingly quick to get back to me with any queries/concerns.

10/10 - would pester our IT team daily to set this up again!

A change has been pushed that separates market price query type from buyback price query type (buy vs. sell). Everyone upgrading should set the appropriate setting.

So I followed the instructions but when I go to the page to load the site it just lists the directory contents. Setting app.php as the default document results in a blank white page.

EDIT: Scratch this, there was something going on with directory permissions. Might have been I forgot to set them again after I did a snapshot rollback.

Let me know if you run into any problems. The installation steps are quite a few.

We've got a working install ( of alliance market ) over on our side of the house, with one unsolvable problem.

Followed normal setup, but everytime I open the fees tab I return a 500 service error.

Oh, can you try opening the link on localhost in dev mode? Do you know how to enable it or should I provide instructions?

I can try it in localhost, not sure on devmode.

But itll be a few hours, work frowns at me sshing into unknown VPS from work.

To enable dev mode:

  1. run composer install - this should install all dev dependencies
  2. clear the cache: app/console cache:clear
  3. navigate to your site with /app_dev.php appended

When you enter the faulting page, you should get a nice call stack with the error.

Also, you can check the app/logs directory.

Can you recommend a specifc VPS provider that makes this easy mode for installing? as In all requirements are already in place for Modules/versions etc?

Unfortunately I can't - I've been using my local provider for myself, and goon servers for else.
