I listen to the jukebox ingame. I love the EVE soundtrack. I synced my favorite tunes up to Spotify to listen to it whenever, as well.

Right now, "Hit on Debra! like a boss. Get rejected! like a boss." just filtered through my ears. THAT is what I listen to.

What? :p AFAIK that's nothing to do with CCP, and I don't get what money has to do with it? :p Especially since you can download them from his site for free.

Check for the ECM.mp3 file in eve-files, it's a 4hours long track which perfectly fits EVE Online, it had a rather good feedback in the old forums.

If your are too lazy to go look for it here are the direct links:

I listen to a fairly wide variety of music while playing EVE, though I usually stick to music without words.

The Homeworld and Mass Effect soundtracks are both good video game choices. The Tron Legacy soundtrack is probably my favorite OST from the silver screen.

Massive Attack (link is to the theme of House MD), The Future Sound of London, ATB and El Ten Eleven produce some of my favorite, modern music without lyrics.

All of the above, with the exception of El Ten Eleven, have at least some tracks that are similar to those found in EVE, and many of the tracks that are not still fit quite well. I also enjoy listening to cello and piano pieces while flying (This performance of The Swan by Yo-Yo Ma being an excellent example of the former and this piece by Chopin (as interpreted by Arthur Rubinstein) represents the latter quite nicely. For a modern alternative on the piano, you can't go wrong with Yiruma.

Some great picks from youse guys ;-)

I'll add:

Morcheeba
Delirium
Faithless
Beth Orton
Thievery Corporation
Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard (nothing like going into battle with Cantara playing loud :-D)

And for some odd reason, Dido sounds good on Eve.....haha

Edited to add DCD ;-)

I have the whole Boards of Canada discography in the jukebox. Depending on mood, I might throw in some LTJ Bukem or other form of DnB:)

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

Aside from some of the suggested 'space' music others have provided, I will also throw in healthy amounts of 'post rock' and 'industrial' for extra flavor.
