Player run event: Memorial service for Hilen Tukoss ; July 26th 18:00

Greetings,

I will be organising a memorial service for Hilen Tukoss to honor and remember him and others who have lost their life while striving for increased scientific knowledge and understanding of the Universe and its content.


IMPORTANT:
This will be a memorial service, not a political rally!


Memorial service details:
Location: Eram system, Site one: Antiquus
Time: 18:00 EvE standard time
Duration: -pending due to unknown amount of speakers but aiming for max 2 hours-

Content of the service:
Start with a line-formation and make a single orbit of both outpost class structures in Site one: Antiquus. During this single orbit, there will be a 2 minute silence. After this silence, there is room for those who wish to speak and have been scheduled in to speak.

If you are interesting on speaking during the service, please contact me and I will see if I can schedule you in. This will depend on the content of your speech.


Security:
Though it is not expected, there is a possibility that this service will attract Drifter attention. For those who wish to attend, please keep this in mind with regard to the ship you pilot.
I have prepared 10 cruisers for logistical armor support and 10 cruisers for logistical shield support. I am looking for people to pilot and use those ships to provide as much support as possible for those who attend.

There will be a single fleet organisation for this service. TS channels have been made available, details will be given once they are available..

Additional information will be provided as the service draws near. This communication will also be send out to other mailing list and will also be posted on the IGS.

For those who are interested and wish to participate, keep an eye on the IGS forum and the FCORD Mailing list;

I am currently looking for people who can pilot the following ships and fits:

LE Augoror - for armor logistics (10 ships available)

LE Osprey - for shield logistics (10 ships available)

These fits do not require fitting implants and can have a lockrange of up to 93km. They are to be used with a minimum of 2 ships and cap stable.


I will be present in a claymore that will provide the following additional bonusses:
Siege Warfare Link - Shield Efficiency II (-25.875% bonus)
Skirmish Warfare Link - Interdiction Maneuvers II (+34.5% bonus)
Skirmish Warfare Link - Evasive Maneuvers II (-34.5% bonus)

You will also enjoy benefit from my leaderships skills and implant:
+10% more armor HP
+10% targetting range
+15% more agility
+15% more shield HP

Hopefully someone is also able to provide armor boosts.

Unfortunately I'm a bit tight on time due to my job and RL so I'll probably be unable to provide a list of both ships & fits for possible combat. However I've been told that FCORD usually flies with an armor composition of maller/prophecy.
I do not have the details, so maybe a fellow FCORD (mailing list) member can provide those fits.

Below is a short overview of ships that I think will work well. I've kept cost, survivability for landing reps and utility usage in mind in case Drifters attack (which I still think is unlikely)
Maybe I'll provide fits later this week, but don't get your hopes up as RL is keeping me busy.

Amarr:
Maller (armor tank)
Arbitrator (armor tank +multiple tracking disruption)

Caldari:
Caracal (shield)
Moa (shield)

Gallente:
Thorax (armor)
Vexor (armor)

Minmatar:
Bellicose (shield + 1 target prainter)
Rupture (armor)
Feu dAstres

I may be able to attend and lend my bonuses also to the fleet: FC-V, Warfare Specialist-V (all 4).

I have a command ship and logistics in Eram already.

It even seems that even CCP is picking up on this as the service is mentioned in their latest Scope news video:

No major coverage but it is mentioned in the subtitles.

I will be online at least a couple of hours before the Memorial starts. For those who wish to attend but need to travel a long distance ingame: there is a minor Minmater trade hub (Hek) only 3 jumps from Eram.

Additional information regarding the organisation and content of the Memorial will be published tomorrow and on the 26th.
