ok, so say you had 120 fitted ships to move,

but you are low on iskies

location x to location y is 50M per trip with Red frog.

too much money for u.

ok so u have friends. they have a jf but they want you to repackage everything.

1) u cant be bothered.

2) u lose the rigs

OTOH it would be cheaper than using RF.

or u could move them individually urself. one by one.

could spend time speccing into a JF myself but i want those ships moved NAOW.

any suggestions, something ive missed?

pls help.

edit sry if rong subforum - didnt know where really

Couple things to take into consideration that you didn't provide:
1) What security space you traveling through.(assumed hi sec since that's all RF does)
2) Do you have access to a Bowhead?
3) How many m3s we talking about?
4) Your friends have a JF but not a normal freighter?....
5) That's cool if you want to spec into a JF but then spend 7 billion on one? I guess your friends could be super cool and lend you a 7 billion isk ship.
6) You and your friend could have a little ship moving OP, where you all fly the ship to the destination and possibly get in trouble on the way.

1) Hi sec
2) im not sure - they said JF i assume yes
3) fitted and rigged ~5M m3
4) idk
5) 7 BILL!
6) have to look into that.

prolly safer just to move them all individually tho. saves the thin faded isk in my wallet

Isk is easier to move. Sell up and dont get in the situation where you need a hundred ships moved...

Keep your "shiney" ships, the rest arent worth it.

Or you can just ask a few buddies of yours to fly in a capsule to the pickup station and your ships back to the target system. May I also suggest to not use the autopilot since you are at war.

Bowhead will carry up to 3 assembled battleships with some room , don't carry the fittings with the ships and tank the damn thing and you should be alright.

That said I bearly got mine out of the trade hub I bought it in before there was a mach dryhumping it dispite it being entirely empty, nothing came of it but they do draw attention so a scout and a Webber are pretty much mandatory if you're hitting a pipe in one.

That said isk is a lot easier to move

- If they are in a busy system sell them off.

- or repackage them and say adios to the rigs, if they are T2 rigs then maybe fly those manually.

- leave a JC in that station and use those ships to go fight some stuff locally, your new JC will be in your new system and you can purchase new ships.

Hey we have all been at the same place you are right now and at some point I just left some ships here and there and got new ones which results in cluttering your assets list all over the place but it isn't lost, just inconvenient to collect it all.

And what Nicola said.

I currently have half a bil in t1 cruisers still in sydicate(not including rigs).....now that I think about it, they might even still have large rigs.

Isk is easy to make or buy, that being said, it's easier to just leave that stuff.....and buy new stuff.

Edit: I do like the jc idea though.

Personally? I'd skill into and buy a Bowhead, as mentioned above.

Make sure your corp has friendly fire enabled, and fleet up with corpmates to web you for every jump.

You'll be done in four trips, and you can sell the Bowhead afterwards to recover most of the 1.3 billion isk it cost to buy.

Do not do this without a practiced corpmate to web you. Otherwise you're inviting a painful bump tackle and eveneven more painful lossmail. It should go without saying that you should divide the isk value of the cargo as evenlyevenly as possible between the four trips.

Well, that's one way to do it, lol. Isk is significantly easier to move than ships, since wherever you go, it's already there.
