Actually if you want to see more targets in low sec you need to beef the gate guns up, not down!

I figure since the warp-to command was changed from a minimum distance of 15km to 0km it's only natural to remove sentry guns/faction ships to give low-sec pirates more of a chance of catching passing ships. I'm all for making low-sec more dangerous to travel through.

Shocked what??? never... Gate Guns RULE!... they are a key factor in any Gate Fun... why it would be boring if noobish people didn't try to gate camp and then suddenly pop due to being primaried by the guns!... never, the tears of noobs must be maintained!...

I was more meaning like an entire ring of them to act as a buffer between null and low some sort of untamed lands those places you mention are a bit small.

Those regions are not exactly small and cover a huge area, some of them like Stain are absolutely massive and have large numbers of stations. Others are large but don't have as many stations.

Best idea I've seen here is adding faction forces to low sec. Have them only defend those who have a certain level of positive standings with them, not insanely high but not 0.1 either. They should be able to be defeated, but not by just a few ships. It makes sense from a story perspective. Low sec areas should feel like outlying areas that are contested between the empires, but not totally lawless.

If anything, gate guns need to be buffed so that more people move out to low sec and try to set up shop.

It will lead to more PvP in the end, just not gate camping noob PvP that you want...

If anything, gate guns need a boost. I mean come on i can tank them in a cruiser. Long enough to do my business and **** off atleast.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

And don't forget us drunks that like to forget we have GCC and warp to gates. And then forget we have the gate agro after the GCC wears off and warp back after after that. And then...

Sometimes I like to cry about it in local just to harvest my own tears.

Because for alliances that lose their sov npc nullsec can be a good choice to regroup and chill for a little bit until they get sorted. Npc nullsec is also home to smaller corps and alliances that are not interested in holding sov, you have the smaller corps and alliances that are not capable of holding sov.

If you can hold a corp together and take over an unoccupied system or drive occupants out npc 0.0 is a fun place for small gang and roaming pvp.

I agree.

All sentry guns and stations should be removed from lowsec. From now on all level 5 missions will be in highsec with a random lowsec destination within the region. Lowsec should only support POS activities and FW.

This will be a FW buff. A POS like structure will be erected in every lowsec system for the use of of the controlling faction after one week of control of that system. With the new plex spawn mechanism it will breath new life into faction warfare, and ruin the day of those entrenched into lowsec as faction warfare pilots. I call for this action to be implemented immediately.
