hello the buzzing sound is constant wether i am in space or in a station.

it is affected by changing the graphics interval - higher intervals make the buzzing slower.

it is also affected by alt tabbing out of the game where it becomes an intermitent popping noise - i can still hear the in game audio when alt tab out

disabling in game audio has no effect the buzzing is still there.

pls can i get some sort of repsonse as it stands i dont want to play with that sound in my ears.

Sounds more like a hardware issue rather than software related.

Not sure if it's the same for personal computer hardware. Back in the military, when that happened to are PRC-119's (and, yes, because it gets asked all the time the nick name is indeed "prick 119"), it was a sure sign that the cable connectors were dirty. Wild guess, but your audio cables might not have a good solid contact to the jack or are not seating properly. Try switching speakers/headphones. If the issue persist, it could be jack is bad or the speakers/headphones in question need replacing.

You should also ensure your audio driver is updated, just to be sure.

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

It's definitely a hardware issue, caused by electrical interference between your GPU and your audio hardware. I would expect that you might also get different results by changing monitor resolution or by reducing your graphics settings in EVE. My guess is that your EVE settings are set to be more demanding than what you have set in the other games you play.

I struggled with this issue on my home system after a GPU upgrade (in my case all the games I played caused it), and what ended up being a total solution was to switch to a USB audio interface, which had the effect of electrically isolating the analog audio hardware from the rest of the system. You might try something like this, if you can't achieve a satisfactory result by turning down your resolution or graphics settings in EVE.

Well really we need more information. Is the sound coming from the speakers? Sometimes copper inducter coils on the motherboard will 'sing' and make that high pitched whining sound. Unplug your speakers to see if it's coming from inside the case.

I always thought that was just the forums.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.
