Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Help me to understand. I just lost a ship because it wouldn't warp. At all. I stared at it, fully aligned, with "warping" on the speed indicator, and my ship was just sat there doing nothing. I was not in Bastion mode, was not scrammed or disrupted, and had full capacitor. There were no collidable objects or anything else anywhere near me in the mission pocket. What else would stop a ship from warping?

I don't know if this is the right sub forum, and I don't want to start raging or crying over internet space ships, and I am probably missing something here, but it really does seem like I keep losing ships to game glitches, server burps and assorted server-side issues.
