Forming Expeditionary Fleet For Drifter Space

Fellow pilots with all the talk about the Drifter threat and what their presence may mean for the safety and future of all of New Eden we decided our tiny Alliance would organize an expeditionary fleet into an Unidentified Wormhole C414 that has Drifter, Seekers, and Sleeper devices in space around it.

This is a call for volunteers able to pilot covert ops capable vessels.

Depending on the vessels selected and their specific fits Drake Ashigaru Alliance may supply all the ships.

This will be a non-aggressive expedition so we must ask all participants to do so only on this basis, we will shoot back but not shoot first.

Additionally any data we obtain must be made available to, my politics are well known so this pains me greatly, all four major empires. Science and recon must take the front seat on these expeditions our factional differences must be put on hold.

We are looking for experienced Anoikis pilots willing to join a multi-factional fleet of discovery. Fleet size and configuration will be determined by the numbers of those willing to participate.

The expedition will depart from the Minmatar Republic in high security space so you must be able to get to Krilmokenur. Again I must stress two vital points. One, we will not shoot first, two, we will function as a non-political fleet protecting all the members thereof to the best of our abilities.

Let's go see if we can come back with some facts that all will find helpful. If you are like me, tired of wait and see, let's go and find out ourselves.

I can fly cov ops/SoE frigate and cruiser and hack well enough to clear all sleeper cache sites except the last area of the superior cache (I need tech III tank for that). If you can provide me with details I'll endeavor to attend should my scientific research allow me the time

Thank you, you are on the notification list. Your time permitting we shall fly together.

I can fly anything and everything you need. Fully specced Hacking and Archeology qualifications, and I'm certified to use a Tech II Entosis Link. Give me a fitting - or, better yet, a fully-fitted ship - you want me to fly and I can fly it. I've also got a PhD in quantum physics (specifically, Transient Nonlocality Phenomena at Very Low Energy States) accredited by the Centre for Advanced Studies should such things become relevant. I have enough contacts with Roden Shipyards and the Federal Navy that I could probably get anything we bring back analysed by their specialists. I'm also fairly competent at organising and leading small groups of pilots.

I also have far too much free time and not enough interesting things to do with it. Sign me up for your highly dangerous deep-space research expedition.

Thank you.

Just went on a solo roam in the current unidentified C414 WH in Krilmokenur.

It led to J 200727 -1.0 a system of all shattered worlds, eight of them. A bright blue pulsating star and desolation.

Gravitational forces seemed quite strong getting the ship to stop in place proved difficult. Other than near the wh entrance no sign of Sleeper activity on scans.

I would like to offer my services; I am fully able to pilot a number of covert vessels and utilize Entosis Links to their full potential. In addition, intelligence gathered from previous expeditions into the Drifter Hive systems will be made readily available to the fleet, in order to successfully gather intelligence, along with whatever else we may recover.

The acquisition of knowledge is more valuable than all else, in my focus. Whatever we may do to grow in knowledge, let us do so.

Thank you. You are signed up and on the notification list. Making the best of whatever data or recon we discover for the good of the New Eden Cluster is our goal, your experience is welcome.

I'd be interested. I consider myself qualified, mainly experienced in archaeology and retrieval.

Cheeta or Astero, Stratios or Loki. Or Proteus, for that matter. Give me a time and tell me what you need.

Have you made contact with Makoto Priano and IKAME, or other members of Arek'Jalaan? They've been into Drifter space before, and might have some useful insight or support for us. It might be worth contacting Anslo and Scope Works as well, since they have a vested interest in combatting the Drifter threat.

Dear Mr. Ixiris,
Dear Mr. Ronin,

Itsukame-Zainou Hyperspatial Inquiries is currently wrapping up some details about the Hive complexes in order to make future expeditions easier. Colleagues Xindi Kraid and Jaret Victorian are overseeing this and will share the results within the Arek'Jaalan community, I believe. For time being, some results about the five systems' anomalies can be found in the Project Salus section. The thread might also provide you more helpful hints about the general layout of the systems.

Feel free to contact us directly. I am pretty sure some of my colleagues or I myself might be happy to have the chance to participate.

Sincerely yours,

I offer my experience with the Drifters, and my previous knowledge of their systems - Being one of the first to enter and begin charting the anomalies. (I am also the Lead for the Project Salus that Ms. Haritimado mentioned.)

And, I accompanied the expedition that Archivist Anteovnuecci mentioned, and have penetrated the Hive complexes before.

My Stratios-class expedition cruiser and the required equipment to gain access to data or relics is standing by should it be needed.

Tell me if you need anything else.

Viriel,

Mr. Ronin,

It's good to see you making a positive contribution to the community.

I would recommend against including Borkstar in your expedition. His motives for participation can be nothing but suspect. He has a history of unethical and dangerous research. Nothing good will come of his involvement. You should just as soon invite Nauplius on a raid to free your fellow Matari from an Amarrian slave compound

Due to Matar Ronin's outspoken and sometimes vitriolic statements against the State's foremost ally, the Empire, there will be no formal IKAME support for this operation. At the same time, Mr. Ronin is welcome to any information IKAME has already published, and IKAME pilots are, operating as independent explorers, welcome to join any public operations as they see fit.

I apologize for the somewhat hair-splitting response, but I'm sure all pilots present understand its necessity.

I look forward to seeing what comes of your operations, Mr. Ronin.

Thank you. The quality and support we have already received from IKAME pilots has put us on the right foot to begin with. We will of course completely share all data we obtain with IKAME. Our goal is to put whatever we may discover before those best able to interpret an integrate it into useful information that all may benefit from if possible.
