How do I know if the Kill Rights against me are public or not?

https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Kill_rights

So quoting this line exactly:

Selling kill rights

Owners of kill rights can choose to sell access to their rights to other pilots, this can be done by clicking the button on the right-hand side of each kill right in the character sheet. You can make the kill right available to all the pilots in New Eden, only members of your corporation or you can choose a specific entity (character, corporation or alliance). Players will receive a notification of changes in availability on a Kill Right where they are the target.

If I'm offline when this change is made do I receive a mail about this change? Or is it only displayed via the in-game notification popup? I'm trying to learn kill rights in and out to understand how to better hunt etc.

You get notified when you log in. Like if someone died you had a bounty on. Also you can check your krs you have on others and krs other have on you under killrigjts on character info thing.

But yeah itll be a notification when thwy log in saying who and how much it is for.
If you change it price or availablty they get new notification.

If you are actually trying to hunt then dont make them available to anyone. I think if you like have alt in system and try to make available to their corp or public they need to go threw session change sometimes anyways for UI to update. So yeah just get eyes on and jumo in fleet warp and do it fast.

Or you can make it public for like 500mill at the beginning of 30days and hope they forget after 20 or so days and just pay 500mill fee from alt to your main.
Prob best idea aside from just doing it yourself

Undock at a trade hub and see if some carebear white knight pops you.

Yo C&P

So ive been thinking abiut all the ahulers and orcas killright baiting and think i may try it in svipuls cuz you get 35mill insunace.

Asking for advice on appropriate killright price that should get purchased pretty often.
After buying platinum you are down like little under 12mill. So like 22mill kr is 10mill profit. For 15min timer 10mill seems too small profit.

Think people will jump at svipul eith like a 37mill killright for 25mill profit each pop? Dont want to set too high and waste time.

47mill too high prob?

What you think most efficient price?

I'd take a 20-25mil profit for 10-15 minutes of baiting, but that's me and pretty smart imo, I've not thought of that like you have.

Undocking from a trade hub especially in a hauler is a solid bait and you could even just fly the trade route a couple times, probably shouldn't do it 'too' often though because then your name gets noticed and it's not worthwhile, also if you have active bounties on you, may be even more beneficial to kill yourself and claim the extra ISK

Isn't that a bit of a contradiction?

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.
