You shouldn't believe everything you hear, it's dangerous.

I confess to liking to watch "Gone with the Starwinds", a historical-romance about the last days of some Amarr holder families on Huola before the advent of the Elder Fleet and the faction war leading up to the first invasion by the TSF forces.

I admit that every once in a while, I like to dig up some remastered editions of pre-space flight space opera holovids, specifically so I can mock all the inaccuracies in how space flight is portrayed.

They are almost all Gallentean (very very inaccurate and usually focus on the fighter jocks and their cool machines) and sometimes Caldari (very heavy on the politics and very light on technical specifics. Most of the space battles tend to be one-sided bombardments resulting from a weaker alien faction failing at realpoliticks).

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I've taken up watching "Wandering Connifers", I don't want to spoil it but essentially it centres around a Gallente Presidential Security agent who wakes up in a small, rural settlement only to discover it is in fact some kind of prison. Almost gave up at one point, but its worth sticking to.

Family, Corporation, and State, in that order. What else is there worth fighting for?

For some reason I can't stop watching the Caldari Animation series Fleet Collection. It's almost absurd, having Achuran schoolgirls represent State warships but... they're so cute and adorable when they beat up the girls from the Gallente and Minmatar schools while never understanding why the Amarrians are always so serious, boring, and keep on stealing all their capacitor boosters.

"It's not like I wanted you to notice me bombarding this Gallente city or anything," Still makes me laugh. No one ever understands Phoenix-san and her desire to be noticed by her senpai.

I did a little search on that on Galnet and apparently...it is based on a Galnet game. However, to actually register for an account requires me to go through a damned lottery process and much of the game is about organising the fleet and then twiddle your thumbs while hoping against hope that the Battleships would stop focus firing on the Destroyers and hit the damned Dreads.

Didn't help that the game is in the Caldari language with no official support for universal translators.

Also, why won't that Cormorant stop saying 'Poi'? And what's with that Caracal's obsession with fighting under the shade of solar eclipses? Why are they fighting over CURRY?

I've always enjoyed the original Anoikin series, Game of Holes. Now in it's second year, in fact.

Very popular among the wormhole populace and it's easy to see why with excellent casting by Mr Proculus Diadochu.

Can't say I've seen the Empire version.

From time to time i enjoy watching old episodes of the "Freedom Friends", a cartoon about a bunch of cartoon animals that fight an assimatrical fight against a evil frogman empire that wats to get their freedoms away.
I think I saw an episode or two of that show in The Bunny Lounge a good while back...it was sort of nice seeing it with adult eyes...I started to suspect it's full of metaphors about our empires and such, or something.

I haven't really watched any new shows regularly, apart from Within the Sphere, where a planet is mysteriously isolated from the rest of the universe. But the final episode of the first season was a disappointment. I was hoping for some answers, but only got more questions, and in the few episodes of season two that I watched indicated it would be more of the same.

The last series I binged on was an older one that I gave a second viewing of all 7 seasons: Byffu the Camazotz Slayer. It's about a young Sebby girl who receives the unique "Slayer" tattoo during her Voluval and is tasked to fight evil spirits, humans, gods, and all things in between, wether she likes that or not, and grows up with her friends along the way.
Oh, and I watched the spin-off Sefrim along with it, but have not finished that one.

I haven't watched it either. I am a big fan of the show mentioned in the OP. I still have some Crash and Drop in various station inventory holds and have seen, first-hand, what the introduction of a higher quality product can do not only to the individual but to their circle of influence as well.

After immersing myself in interactive entertainment for three decades, I can't watch holovids anymore. What if the plot goes somewhere I don't want it to? In a hologame I could change that.

Afraid I'm only watching the Scope and Amarr Certified for the news, but now and then Laria picks up some kind of a trashy gallente holoreel and tells me all about the plot.

Which again reminds me why I only watch the channels for the news.

GODS ABOVE DAMN IT. I put in my audio jack, load up Megacyte Symphonic and want to just read the recent news. ISG, a place where the most powerful people in the universe gather to discuss politics? Nope, GoS spoilers. PLEASE TAG THIS THREAD so other unfortunate people who are YET TO SEE IT don't accidentally stumble on it.

Seriously I was looking forwards to marathoning that with a nice mix of Quafe and booze.

Haven't watched much Holo recently. I'm still in Murky Conscience 2, trying to beat this fricking giant bastard who wields two swords that goes into Bullet Hell mode once in a while.

He took me out about 20 times already. I had to Jolly Cooperation so many times to get my Humanities back. Just managed to get him down enough to initiate phase 2, upon which he Bullet Hell'ed me to death. I will figure out his deal and then I will kill him NEXT TIME.

Then I can take a short break and go take on this giant suit of floating armour that is on fire.
