People crying for compensation need to get a grip and get over it. If you lost sp then that's down to you because you can make skill queues as long as you want, CCP have already apologised for the downtime, and what people should be grateful about is that they worked their arses off to get the server back up and stayed during their own time to do so. CCP aren't obligated to give us anything for the duration of the downtime. Thank you CCP for getting Tranquility back up.

Trivia: EVE ONLINE can be considered it's own social medium, even though a part of the people might not participate.

FFS I come back after a few months off, decided to start a fresh char to get back in to the game, and I see the same old self-important whiney little morons complaining and bitching about a few lost hours.

It always used to be the case that whenever patch day was due you set a LONG skill in the queue to cover a few days, just in case things went **** up.

Are people that stupid nowadays that this is a thing of the past?

Grow up, realise that **** happens and get over it.

I first started playing when there was no skill queue, you had to micromanage your training to the n'th degree, people use to set alarm clocks to wake up to change skills, it was part of the game, you either worked round it or accepted the fact that there would be times when you weren't training anything. Now it's so much easier, they give skillbooks and ships away like candy to new players, skill queue is unlimited, yet people are still that unorganised that they can't manage to sort a skill plan out.

Here's a tip for you, always put a long level 5 skill in at the end of your queue, and when you want to train something else, drag it in front of the long skill. It really isn't rocket science.

Should CCP give something in compensation? really I'm not bothered, I've played this game long enough in the past not to be fussed about it.
