I remember the days when there were no JBs, where ships had to walk all the way from jita to deklein, using only gates...

I remember the days when the systems in 0.0 got spammed with towers and it was super fun to run about and either kill towers or defening fleets...

I remember the days when the raven and scorpion were pvp vessels, where a manticore could snipe and instapop a vessel with cruise missiles...

I remember the good, ol' days of EVE...

Anything else we can rememember?

I remember being hit by remote doomsdays. I remember jumping into a system with a reported 150 pilots in it and getting the blackscreen of death. I remember playing against developers who gave their friends T2 BPOs

I remember auto-cannon Cyclones. Cry

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I remember when post generation caused by Hulkageddon was exceeding, perhaps, all of today's forum activity combined... Except that flood caused by extended downtime, that's it.

I remember when seeing a bs on scan meant gtfo.

When there was no warp to 0.

When belt ratting 2 nights a week bought you a gtc.

When rail megas sitting 200km off a gate was a thing to be feared.

When the United had a camp in rancer constantly.

When players played station games in dreads and carriers.

When my first hurricane easily took on bs`s.....and won.

Gas only cost a nickel, doctors made house calls, Collies would constantly save mentally challenged children from wells, and three hour boat tours had a high chance of encountering storms that would wreck you on the shore of an uncharted desert isle with the captain and his mate, a rich older couple, a movie star, a farm girl and a professor who was a literal MacGuyver with coconuts.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

When you had to choose from about dozens of options to start a new char because all options led to different skills.

No skill queue, setting alarm clocks to get up at stupid o'clock to change skills.

Unlimited ice blocks

9k skill points when you started off, and making your first million isk was a big thing.

When High-Sec industry was a good way of earning isk.

Being in a corp and cleaning our home system of ore every week, moving to the next one if we had a good turnout.

When Hulks were something to fantasise over, I seem to remember them at over 700mil isk.

Learning Skills

boot.iniOops

Fueling a tower took a degree in excel, none of these fancy modern fuel blocks.
