Makes me wonder if they have more serious business in them than BRAVE. We can only hope!

Seeing comments about lack of experience, I wonder: if having experience complimentary only with being bitter enough to not try something like this?

I just shudder what happens to new bro's in the future willing to do the same when ccp fraks up fleet warp.
Really brilliant idea. (not)

But nice video, I can feel the confusion of those in fleet. Align to? How, where, to what? Fleet window, broadcast? Did he say jump/warp? Lets be on the safe side and jump/warp.

So much to learn but this is, I feel, the only way to learn the game. Get in, fight die a lot and learn along the way.
The longer you play safe the harder it will get for many to lose a ship.

Not bad for new-bros just walking into the game! Good streaming fun.

I wish there was a way...without resorting to heavy pharmaceuticals or electro-shock therapy...to go back to that hilariously wonderful, invigorating, eye-popping "I have no idea what the hell's going on...holy balls this is great!! Kill 'em!! We're in freaking space!!!!" feeling that can only be enjoyed by the true newbro.

This was most excellently well done.

My first miner bot-aspirant retirement after TQ came back up was from this corp. They should teach more about being AFK.

Meanwhile, here's a 2014 toon in a meta-4 fit Incursus taking on a P I R A T 2012 toon in a t2 fit Raptor.

Now, I know I'm not supposed to link killmails here, but as long as it's there, you may as well take a close look at what they're really made of ^_^

Docking games, neutral logi, the whole shabang, give em a 'fair' fight (honestly, odds were against Milana with less than 1mil SP, so it wasn't even fair), and they have all the skills of a skydiving Rhino.

After watching, I have to say, very cool stuff. We need more newbros with some of that 'let's just do it' attitude, the kinda guys and gals who just do and learn as they go. I like... no, I LOVE that attitude. Make mistakes, learn from them, and become better for it. They gave it a really good crack and they get my thumbs up.

I think it was Niels Bohr who said something like, an expert is someone who has made lots of mistakes in a particular field, or something like that. Basically, learning what not to do by just doing it and seeing what happens. Too many people go into a fight worried about their killboard, worried about how they look to others, and then comes the f**kery where they either set it up as a confirmed win, or refuse to fight. Now don't get me wrong, some people are in it to win it, there's nothing wrong with that. This is EVE, honour need not apply. However.

I bring a certain degree of honour to my fights regardless of the nature of EVE, up to the point where people start pulling f**kery on me, and then I return the favour. But I love a good fight, win or lose, and I've always said, good PVP is like good sex: whether you're the one being ******, or doing the *******, as long as you feel like a smoke and a nap when you're done, it was good pvp.

I think a velator with a scram can kill a mwd interceptor if it is scrammed.. expecially with blasters and a drone

I've heard that the big blue donut refers more to the glaze of the doughnut. If that's true and most allied corporations don't know the internal politics of other blue corporations this group might have a chance at continuity.

Provided there is no over-arching belief that everyone in the big blue donut knows everything about everyone else in the big blue donut.

You can disagree with me without disagreeing with CODE. I'm merely a soldier, and my experiences and opinions of space combat are my own.

That being said, I have a lot of experience with combat, and a well-flown interceptor should never be beat by a rookie ship. A T1 frigate, maybe, but in this case, he lost because he tried to deaggress to dock and reship. He tried to play silly docking games, and paid the price. Additionally, the low-skilled toon flying the Incursus was actually me. Milana's my alt. My "Oh look, a low skilled toon in a T1 frigate I can pad my KB with.... oh ****, she's better than I thought," alt.

I usually show that kill to newbros that complain they don't have the SP to PVP though, as well as one where I took on an '06 vet in a Stratios with a Gnosis in lowsec and won there as well. I have lots of kills around where I've taken on far older toons in matching or better ships, and won.

But anyway, this thread isn't about that, it's about newbros actually getting into the action instead of buying Hulks and afk mining in Halaima. I'm totally on side with everything this thread represents. Go newbros!
