Bring back the old torpedo effect!?!

Hello I was wondering if I am the only person who would really like to see a return of the old torpedo effect, or something similar. I just feel the old effect was so much cooler. It is important to point out that this is not a game breaking issue and I wont quit if this dose not receive support from other players. also all other missile effects are far better now than they were in the past. but if like me you miss seeing that giant ring effect support this topic and maybe we can get the Devs attention.

There's enough going on on-screen for me to have to look at several rings blowing off a target as well. Large effects are obstructive IMO.








New effects are fine.

If you were at this years fanfest, and then were super nerdy you went to the eve has sounds roundtable (so the 6 of us who did) you would of got to see some stuff you might like... NOSPOILERS :) :) !!! so good. and i am not even talking about the sounds 0.o:)

The torp effects from ten years ago were really nice, especially so the EM effect. I do want them back. The effects today are so... impotent.

I think this thread is firm enough evidence that if something is old and looks enough like ass, people will +1 pretty much anything to keep themselves feeling nostalgic. That, or they REALLY don't want to give up their precious bootlegged copy of Windows XP.

I'd like a similar effect applied only to the citadel missiles. A similar yet smaller effect applied to cruise missiles and torpedoes would be cool, too.

Well it seems the masses have spoken, and recalling the original effects, maybe smaller versions of those. My main issue was that they were far too large an effect, and at the time my PC would melt.







But now it is not the case. Maybe a smaller, more polished version of the original effect?
