Drones and Cosmic Sig's not showing up on map

As the title says. I have now problem seeing the usual red bubbles of cosmic signatures and blue bubbles of my probes in K-space, but as soon as I hop through a WH, nothing will show up on the map anymore.

This has happened other times before the patch, with my probes anyway. But all I had to do was hit scan or default formation, and they popped up on the map. This time, even scanning reveals nothing. The list sometimes populates, showing status bars for various sigs, but the map is otherwise blank.

I've tried making sure I'm centered on current location, on the off chance the map was popping to another system. I've tried separate WH's, logging off, completely closing the game client and launcher, and I can't think of what else to try.

Is this a glitch, or did they introduce some way for people staying in the wormhole to block probes? I'd really like to go ninja harvest some gas.

If you're using the new map, don't. CCP knows that it's bugged.

Press F10 and just say no. Legacy map 4FR.

Edit:

Probing in wormholes is not working with the new map. To probe, please use the old map (F10).

Yeah, well, it's just like my opinion, man.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a shot when I can get back on. Off to bottle cider for now, though.

Cheers.

Looks like a bug to me, I've got the same problem. Everything is fine in known space. But once in unknown space through a wormhole the red (sig) and blue (probe) bubbles don't show on the map.

I can confirm the problem is only with the beta map. It seems to have been introduced with yesterday's software update. The old map works fine in unknown space.

Thank god for that I didn't know about the F10 thing and been using the rubbish one. I would love to know why CCP even considers using the new one it's truly awful

Probably the same reason they put huge useless lag-inducing nebulas in WH space, because some devs sadly seem to value shininess over functionality. Did we need a new map? I would say no. Is the new map shiny? I guess. Is it harder to use than the current system? Oh yeah.
