How to Change Account Name?

Could anyone explain to me on how to change the account name ?
any help in this would be greatfull.

From what I know: No can do.
You COULD create a new account and transfer your character(s) over to that new account, but as CCP takes a fee for Character transfers (20 USD/EUR per character), that's not cheap. Does the trick, though.

write a petition. explain why you need to have the account name changed, hope that it is technically possible

If you petition explaining that you only now realized that you unwittingly created an account name that is racist, sexist or otherwise unacceptable due to the terms of use, you may be offered a chance to change it.

Other than that, you are likely out of luck.

Account names cannot be changed. However, if you have specific, important concerns about your account, please file a petition. You can do so by pressing F12 while logged into the game client.

as the gm above said you cannot have account names changed.... seems like your trying to steal someone's account. your account name and toon name should never be the same.

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

Wow people already wearing the tinfoil hat saying that op wanna steal a acc.

Could be an old acc and op was young and named it the : Darkrapistknight2003
And now that he is older, saw how ridiculous it sounds.

Or it could be a case that the account holder didn't know that account name != character name when he started eve.

Did you know, that the geniuses behind the ingame petition system overlooked the fact pressing Submit Petition now locks up the client for 2-3 minutes?

You should be suggesting the out of game petition system, you'll less likely get another petition requesting reimbursement for the ship they just lost while petitioning.

That actually exists. In your account management section, under the "Account" section in the tool bar there is an account activity log. It will show you client activity, eve gate activity, etc. and even the IP address.

I can't believe I know something Chribba doesn't. I should mark this day on my calendar P

This is already available for the recent logins to your account. Try the "View Account Activity" entry of the "Account" menu within your Account Management Pages when you have a moment Blink
