I don't know if the topic has come up, (searched and didn't find anything related), but I auto fit my ships a lot, and would like that feature to handle skins as well. aka, to save practically 2 seconds, and to skin each of my favorite fittings.

or just spend the 2 seconds it takes to apply the skin. i'd rather Dev time get spent on actual things.

imo if I fly a ship with a skin I want it to load the skin every time I fly that ship. ex If I'm in a domi I want the quafe skin!
