I believe that these people, the devs, have actual friends and family,
and that they'd LOVE to spend the night with them ...
... instead with people who have none, like you. ^^

Wow kinda harsh dont you think. Sorry to burst your bubble but come back to reality and realize everyone cant cram into times square or london for new years. Some are deployed thousands of miles away. Some are handicapped and yet believe or not some do have to work(my wife). Im not sure what your goal was with this post but i assure you there are far worse places to spend new years. grow up

So you think that those with family don't play EVE at NYE? Big smile

There's a player-run event in Umokka, Lonetrek. (according to a message on EVE Gate - which for some reason, I can only find when logged out What?)

This signature intentionally left blank for you to fill in at your leisure.

It's too late for it, if you live in New Zealand.
Australia's NYE is coming up soon. I don't have much time left.
Or do I have to have a NYE event when America has one?

I hope you guys realize that New Year in EVE starts at 00.00 UTC. Not your own local time. Cool

I'm afraid that the planet that I grew up on doesn't have 365 days in a year. So 00.00 UTC for me in EVE time isn't my NYE. Doesn't it depend on which planet you are on?

I've decided to just be a day behind this year, and celebrate it on Jan 2nd. Avoiding the £20 ticket to get into that ****** nightclub/bar you have being going to for free/£5 for the last year and having drinks that don't cost a kidney (assuming you can get to the bar which is 4 deep with people)

Long live the 2nd \o/

I lied :o

I would suggest you to get out, meet some people, have some fun some smiles and why not get drunk. Wake up tomorrow morning with some nice lady and say to yourself "waw what a nice way to start this new year"

If for whatever reason you just can't, then let me wish you all the best for this special evening and have some fun the way you can.

But I still think you should go out have some fresh air and meet people Blink

Where is this planet, that you call "earth"?
PS: I was drinking and it is now 1:14am in the new year. So it doesn't really matter.
