It's an imp, so no. That said, once you plug it in it stays plugged it, even if you get podded. The only way to destroy it afaik is to biomass.

The Aural implant is like any other implant; if you remove it (and you can) it is destroyed.

And no... CCP will not refund it.

Its not removable without destroying it but if you just wait a bit longer CCP will be turning it into a SKIN which will be toggled on and off at your discretion so best not to touch it

Genolution stat boosters are destroyed. I believe this post is in reference to the "special" implant which yields the Golden Pod

Not the Aural AU-79 (the one that gives the golden pod).
That one stays glued to your head even after being podded (through some weird technobabble coding voodoo).

All other implants are "normal" and follow "normal" rules.
