5453 overheated active tank jackdaw

Requires full sets of implants + boosters + links + overheat, no officer/faction/deadspace modules though

I don't know what this would end up as with officer modules or with further tweaking (you might be able to mess with the CPU and implants for a slightly higher result, maybe).

Just something I messed around with and felt like sharing. It's not really practical since the modules activate every ~1.2 seconds and anything ACTUALLY dealing 5k dps will be eating your tiny armor/structure every cycle. But you can theoretically tank whole battleship fleets for the duration of your ancillary's until you empty your charges and cap out (probably capship fleets in reality with your sig tanking), which isn't very long realistically either lol.

Maybe if you had capacitor logi support you could actually maintain this lol. They would have to be feeding you 283 capacitor per second (in every actual second real time, because you'll cap out upon activating a third cycle without a cap boost and your cycles are ~1.2s).

Cheers :D

Maybe good for bait.....but it doesn't have a point.....It's impressive, but kinda unrealistic.

I think you forgot to add a mindlink to your link boat.

but yea, you can do some silly things with the jackdaw. I like the 3x MASB fits, at least for EFT lulz. actually flying the ship feels boring.

you can't tank fleets, they gonna alpha you, do not confuse tankable dps with actually tankable damage

Yeah flying anything realistic seems pretty poor with the jackdaw. I might not ever undock the ones I have. I really like the hecate but probably won't ever train into it. :(

you get 9 cycles of them boosters if you add navy cap boosters instead of standard 50s, just saying.....

Really? I've been using mine with various degrees of success.......It's actually an awesome ship. Here I thought everyone would love missiles that catch linked garmurs.....

OP seems familiar.

On topic, under 1K shield HP's are too few to make this exciting. It is humorous, however.

"Jackdaw 5453hps active tank " ?

I don't think so.

That 5453 number is not hps.

It's a number generated by EFT to show, in this case, shield strength.

How they come up with it I do not know, but it is not hit points per second.

Still, it is very very high. (higher is better).

Always remember Tovil-Toba, and what was done there.

It's EHP/s. Like, if you generate 100 HP every 10 seconds with 50% of EM resistance, for example, then your EHP/s will 20 against EM damage, as in: (100 / 10) * 1/(1 - 0.5).

Now, I haven't tested this ship in EFT (too lazy since no export text), but seeing these numbers... Does it even have enough max shield HP to make ASB cycles have full impact?

Eh, well. Even if it does, from practical PoV it will be very awkward.

When using both reppers at exactly the same time you are repping 1290.7 actual damage every 1.21 seconds. You have a shield HP of 1294.

This means that after 10.89 seconds you will be repping nothing at all. You will not be able to kill anything in under 11 seconds with your measly dps and no web.

If you are taking that much damage, there is no way that you will last that long, and the alpha from a number of ships causing that much dps will rip through your ship before you can tighten your sphincter.

Also, I am not sure why it is showing differently but the max I get with that in eft is 6129ehp/sec

You guys are taking this way too serious. I said in the op it's not realistic in multiple places :p

Just something funny to do and wanted to share the number I got lol.
