It has seemed to me that CCP has tried to streamline gameplay and get rid of unnecessarily complex tasks that do not contribute to gameplay. At this point I have to ask why I have to pause training skills to jumpclone? This pausing of skills seems like an unnecessary step in a common task that does not add anything to gameplay or the experience of neweden.

old code and that generally means it is not an easy fix. They also didn't fix this when they did it for implants so i'm going to assume they ran into some trouble and that the issue would take more time and resources than it is worth.

but i can assure you it was not a game play choice made by ccp

I wonder what's so difficult about it...

pause();
jumpclone();
resume();

You just call the code for pausing before and the code for resume after jump. If that can't be done, I must admit... that code must look horrible.. beyond imagination. CCP's fault after all.

Sometime you don't build in very open way for future possible features. When did jump clone become a thing anyway?

Can´t see the big problem it only cost you about 10 sec. And i think CCP would waste a bigger amount of money to fix this little problem.

I'd like this, but recall somewhere that it'd be a CODE nightmare

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

Problems occur when you patch new features into old code and then try to change the new feature - you end up breaking things you didn't realize were connected. CCP understands the problem and is slowly upgrading the legacy codebase but it will take years. I suspect we'll know the project is well underway when they announce a fix for off-grid boosting!
