How much did you say you lost to them?

Please allow me to say just how awesome these guys are.

I reach out to them to tell them that due to my own personal failures (not paying attention) that my high sec POS was coming out of reinforcement in 10 hours. I had contacted NINE other merc corps and none could do the job at the time it was coming out (around 10 eve) and none could react with such short notice.

Only one other corp was willing to take the job and they wanted 9 Billion for a high sec POS defense.

These guys... these guys were absolutely awesome. 500 Mil. They said they could do it no problem. Tell me I can pay once the job is done. Join the war as an ally and show up before I had paid them a dime. Top it off with the fact that I failed at math and the POS actually came out of reinforce an hour before I said it did. They showed up though. With six guys. I told them that the aggressor usually bought 16-22. They said it wasn't a problem.

Well the bad guys showed up and the bad guys got spanked. These guys do not screw around. I doubled their fee of 500 and paid them a billion for their help. I really can't say enough good things about them.

When the job was finally finished, know what he says?

"No problem. We keep killing them. Let us know if you need help."

Recently they appeared around Dodixie. I haven't seen them much but my friend who is very active citizen of Dodixie was very disappointed by P I R A T: "they unable to do 1(!!!) duel without neutral logi! . Even Mastercard (or VISA? I never remember its name, was in Dodixie 1 year ago) not only baited people but did some semi-real PvP time by time... "

Many Hisec mercs got their neutral Logis in corp to prevent Suspect Timers. Not all, but many.

P I R A T has stayed old school and still operate their many neutrals.

I'm not seeing much bashing of them just one upset guy who doesn't know when to hire who. But I am seeing a lot of support for them. With good reason too I am yet to score a single kill against them. No other merc crew can claim the same (I even killed a BAW logi once in eve uni )

Got popped by them once on the undock, BUT I will hire them if and when the time comes!

P I R A T is a very professional Merc corp. They went above and beyond our expectations. They were ready when our pos came off timer to fight off our enemies. They even stayed to help rep up our POS. Would recommend P I R A T to anyone looking for quality! Thanks again.

I fought against PIRAT around a two years ago when they dec'd us while we were taking contracts around Amarr. They were smaller then and so we fought roughly equal numbers. We had several engagements with them and they were good and organised. From memory we won the first couple as we were able to bait them into some traps and drag them away from Amarr. However they soon started hunting us and were very good at choosing to attack us when we were hunting other targets and got some good kills against us.

They get my vote as being very good pvpr's and I would recommend them. They field good gang sizes with the right type of counters to what they're hunting. My only knock against them is their love of Amarr :)

While not on Noragen Khaos have come into opposition with me and I've been a party to some kills if not a winning battle . On the other hand I've taken 3 swings at PIRAT and been thumped down once and avoided twice. Hence my recommendation. No other crew has that success rate
