Intergalactic Summit

It is with great regret I inform you all of the retirement of Cardinal Grealyn. He has left the service of Tzedakah but more importantly has retired from capsulleer life and turned his attentions inward to a life of peaceful prayer and reflection planet-side.

I have known Graelyn since my first jump into providence and then more so when joining Epitoth Guard in CVA. He had always been kind and patient with me, he taught me much. When I first joined you in the stars I'll be honest I was in many ways a spoiled impatient brat, he taught me in not just in word but in deed of respect to all while still maintaining and garnishing respect even if grudgingly from everyone he crossed paths with.

Six months ago I thought he was kidding when he felt I was worthy of mantle of Executor for Aegis Militia. He believed in me, and continued to guide me even as immortal existence began to take its toll on his radiant soul. He left us, perhaps the bloodshed was too much, perhaps he feared living to-long a powerful force of good would lead him to become the evil he loathed the most. He did not disclose his full reasons to me but I can only assume they were made with the wisdom he was so well known for.

Friend of foe, I know many of you respected him, I hope you all will join me in saluting our friend, our teacher, our Cardinal one last time.

I shall miss discussing religion with Graelyn, and regret that we did not discuss it more.

I hope he finds what he is looking for.

Whilst I'm sorry to see the Cardinal go and wish him all the best in his future endeavours, I've a feeling that he'll be back.

He gave me a Nightmare - I heard he has given away other things as well.

Indeed, CONCORD does not list a capsuleer by the name of Graelyn. Has he deactivated his clones? Transferred his conscience into the void? Did he give any reasons why he decided to part?

Graelyn’s perfidious treason against God and the Order of St. Tetrimon will never be forgotten—his soul wanders in darkness and his memory forever is sullied by the reflections of his lamentable and woeful deeds. May his tarnished fruits be a warning to all and may the faithful find mercy and salvation before their God.
