So. Having found a nice spot to build fuel blocks, I noticed they have agents there. Level 1 and 2 agents.
So, I got to wondering what kind of ship or ships I should haul down for them.

I COULD do my old carebear progression, and just use an AC-fit armour rupture for both sets, but it's a touch sluggish for lv1s built around frigates and destroyers.
Especially as the rupture works best with arty, and the tracking would be shite on lv1 rats with med arty. Oh, and it won't fit through some gates.

Then I noticed the thrasher hulls I have lying around. Back when I was a noob, an AC fit on them worked fairly well, but lacked hammer, and had to close annoyingly often. An arty fit would solve that, and would also build up a nice knowledge base for running higher missions with arty fits.

Maybe a stabber. It's faster, it's not as durable, but an unholy speed tank could take care of a lot of DPS. It has the disadvantage of having to be acquired, however. My other one done got blowed up in lowsec when it flew into a gatecamp.

For any higher missions, I'm just going to trot out my existing mission boats. The cane worked fine, and my skill training since then would solve the issues I had. And my 800mm AC Maelstrom works just great for lv4s.

Hi,

I did some Gallante 1 & 2s with my main in a jaguar just recently. Pretty much overkill for everything, but it gets the job done pretty quickly. I slapped an Small Armor Repairer on, but that was the only tank fitted. Not that the rats got through shields anyways. If you have good resistances then those rats cannot touch you.

200mm t2 autocannons, afterburner, webs etc. I had a tracking disruptor.

More cost effective and less tedious would be something with drones, but if minmatar only, then you're stuck with the ruppie I think.

I didn't loot or anything, just grinded up some standings.

I used this lame fit with good success in all types of L1 / L2 missions. Most L3 could be manageable but completion times becomes meh.

1x Rocket launcher (any)

1MN AB II (mwd workable)
Medium shield extender - meta 4

Nanofiber II
Tracking Enhancer II
2x Gyrostab II


Rigs to taste, do not shield rig it if you plan a later use in pvp.
