Good ship counter for Angels.

I want to do angels DED sites, but I have honestly no idea, what kind of ship should I fly. Their damage profile doesn't fit with anything I've flown yet. Does anyone has an idea, how it should be done?

You can use anything with some explosive hardeners, any T1 shield tanks have a decent profile, T2/3 Amarr ships have the right profile for armor.

You will need to be way more specific than this.

What level of Angel DED sites and where (high sec, low sec, null)?

What can you fly?

Of the 'normal' (non-sleeper/drifter/incursion sansha) rats, angels are IMO the hardest to tank against. Some of them do em and them damage as well as explosive/kinetic.

This is what i use to solo Angel DEd 10/10s (Angel Naval Shipyard), I use a partial mid grade crystal set and a set of plus 5 cap and projectile weapon implants`. It's expensive, but it solos DED 10/10s lol It can be done cheaper (Rattylesnake is ace) but I like Machs.

does 1350 dps with my skills, tanks so much against angels my shield barely moves and is cap stable with my implants. She is a beast :) .

I've only ever come across one Angel rat that dealt that, and it was the commander from Vengeance (L4); do any of the regular rats use EM? I was thinking about looking for higher rated sites in Angel space myself, so I would appreciate any info.

Seraphim do EM. Cherubim and Saints do therm. There are some examples across all ship classes but those stand out as actually, you know, doing significant amounts of damage period.

I use a Mach for lvl 4 missions. Fusion ammo shreds Angels, and with MWD it's fast enough to easily keep range from elite frigates.

Yea I hit MWD and burn away from the nearest frigates as soon as I warp into a pocket. Keep at range 30-50 reduces transversal to near zero, easy to one shot them.

The Mach does require a cap booster (I use regular charges to save ISK) and is not as afk-able as some options but it is a very fun ship to fly, handles like a battlecruiser and can get out of trouble quickly plus the warp bonus means you can cycle through missions faster. I just finished large projectiles V yesterday, pretty eager to see what T2 guns and new ammo options do for performance.

I've had a little bit of time in a Mach and the only issues I ever really had was that it's a little thin on tank so it requires an attentive pilot and that it gobbles up ammo faster than a minigun. Other than that, it's well worth the investment of getting one if you're looking for a good anti-Angel killer.

Can confirm. I ran a ded in a similar fit last night. You might have tank problems without implants, i ran a pith b adapt/gist x booster/pith b shield booster and some parts would nearly require me to run my booster the entire time.

I also reccomend swapping the MJD for an afterburner if you can make it cap stable or close because it will mitigate damage and help you get around faster, unless you are worried about people coming to kill you
