Increasing Faction Standings

I'm trying to raise my standing with Posku Mineral Group (Caldari State) enough to get access to the level 2 agents (I think I need a corp standing of 2.0 for this, correct me if I'm wrong).

I have done 10+ missions and although my standing with the agent is 1.67, my standing with the corp is 0.15 and only increases by 0.01 for every mission I complete.

Am I doing something wrong or will it seriously take me another 185 missions to get to 2.0 corp standing? Currently training Social and then Diplomacy as I've heard that helps.

Train up Social and Connections.

Social increases the amount of standing gained for completing missions.
Connections increases the amount of your current positive standings.
Diplomacy skill decreases the amount of your current negative standings.


As for Faction Standings, check out 'The Plan'. It not only repairs negative Empire Faction standings, it can also raise positive Empire Faction standings.
