Need a new monitor

My Samsung 2233RZ died on me last month. I finally got around to attempting a repair on it (replaced all of the capacitors on the power board) but failed miserably.

Anyways, I'm in the market for a new monitor now. My budget is $300-400. I would *prefer* 1920x1200 resolution, but 1080p is fine. I don't like color gradients or "pixel walking". Any suggestions?

While newegg is an indispensable tool, it unfortunately does not tell me if a monitor has a significant color gradient, nor whether or not a monitor has significant pixel walking. The only way to find this information is by actually looking at the monitor or by getting the info from someone who has one.
