Apologies for the late notice on this but we have just found a disparate but severe graphical issue that will invalidate all of the testing that we had planned for today. We will be rescheduling this test, tentatively, for next Tuesday (21/07)

From the numbers I've seen there are only a couple of effects from our revamped set that have an increase in milliseconds/frame and those are quite minute, so you shouldn't be able to discern any performance degradation from these effects.

I know that aspects of Doomsdays have always been a performance hit (see Gjallarhorn/Oblivion impacts) but we're making every effort to improve on those.

I was actually thinking of making a comparison chart showing old and new as I was walking in to work this morning!

Just to confirm,

does this include graphical improvements, akin to the ship Explosions showcased during fanfest?

And whilst on the topic, when are the new explosions/propmod effects coming?

How long will the test be running?

When was the last sync between Singularity and Tranquility? My account is only a few months old,; as of a few days ago, it doesn't seem to exist on Singularity yet.

is it possible to get my super moved to my current char on sisi? Its not on it in the current mirror (not on this char, I wont disclose the name apart from to a dev for obvious reasons)

That is unless you could give me some free sp to complete my titan training :P

Hi folks, to give you an update on things:

Yesterday's disastrophe will have no impact on today's mass test.

The test will run for roughly 40-60mins (historically closer to 40).

I wouldn't say that the new effects are as drastically different as the new explosions we showed at fanfest (and I cannot provide a timescale for when you'll see those particular effects).

Is this severe graphical bug what's caused this bit of weirdness: When I log in to Sisi, the middle bits of the screen that should have, you know, space has the background image from character selection stuck there instead.

This is with a fresh sisi install after copying my TQ setuo, which works as normal.
