Great tool Zifrian, I have enjoyed using it. As of this morning, it appears that IPH is not pulling API data. Created new APIs, uninstalled and reinstalled IPH to no avail. API database error with fresh install with clean, full keys.

Any thoughts?

API is offline.

Thanks, I couldn't find an API announcement. Looks like it is back up now.

Is there a way to mark as having owned multiple invented BPCs with different ME/TEs and run amounts? Not finding it.

I need more specifics on this. I'm not sure what the problem is. Here is where I got the numbers: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=418719

If someone has ore scans of a I mined belt, that would be perfect but I don't have access and the test server doesn't have belts.

There isn't an option for this yet. It's quite a bit of work to implement but something that I've wanted to do for some time. When I get most of the main bugs worked out I'll work on this. Right now it picks the highest me then te to use.

Hi All,

Is the API having issues again? or is it just me that's not getting SVR values? Doing it in Dodixie and maybe 5-10% of items actually have an SVR when usually 90%+ do.

Jita seems to be a bit better but still many less SVR than i remember.

i learned that setting longer periods for the SVR values gives much better results

Best thing to do is to update EMD yourself by running evemons replicator or another program that does this and check the price history in game to update it. With this I mean look up the item on the market and go to the history graph or table. Then the data should update (eventually).

To note I'm working on getting this to work with CREST, which is complete data by region but I need to improve the efficiency before it's useful.

I'm fairly certain this behavior has changed recently, but I may be crazy.

When I run the Manufacturing List with "Owned BP's" and "T3 invented" checked, in the past I seem to recall T3 cruisers/destroyers showing up, though there is no T1 BPO. Sometime in the last month or so, this seems to have changed. T3 cruisers/destroyers never show up in thsi list unless you run 'All Blueprints'. Am I misremembering this behavior? How would you get T3 destroyers/cruisers to show up with 'Owned BPs' before you've invented the blueprint?

Similar problem to n0rman, if I run the manufacturing list, All blueprints, Tech 2, I no longer get entries marked with the blue background indicating that I own the T1 BPO.

I don't know if that's a bug or intentional. Either way, it's not ideal.

OK, I guess I removed this on accident last patch. I'll have it fixed hopefully tomorrow. Still working on the Aegis DB update.

Interestingly, I don't have that problem with T2, I still see them as I'd expect, just T3 is giving me issues. Running 3.1.5663.27046

Update.

If I open the app, go to manufacturing list and calculate with All Blueprints, Tech 2 selected I don't get the blue backgrounds for owned T1 BPOs.
If I then change the option to "Owned BP", calculate, then back to All Blueprints and calculate again, the blue background reappears.

Yeah. Same here. T3 doesn't work anymore. Selecting only T3 in the manufacturing tab works only, if i select All Blueprints, not Owned Blueprints.

Looks like Fozzie's post wasn't clear to me, I thought they were updated to those numbers not the ONLY ores in those. This is fixed in version 3.1.5671.35252.

New build - Note the change to the scaling settings. Some versions of windows might not work correctly but for those that scale to 125% or 150% you should notice some improvement.

Build 3.1.5671.35252

  • Updated to Aegis_1.0_114220 Database and Images
  • Industry jobs will now update for all checked alt accounts in the list without needing to load the character
  • The total cost on the shopping list now reflects the total cost of the shopping list and not the original cost entered. If users update the items, the cost will reflect those changes.
  • Removed taxes and fees check boxes for items on the shopping list. The shopping list is intended for shopping, not selling. Future updates may incorporate taxes for selling items but for now they are removed.
  • Added invention and copy costs (does not include usage) to the shopping list.
  • Blue highlights on records users can invent (they have the T1 BP) and T3 Invented items should now show for both All Blueprints and Owned Blueprints and show the correct settings selected.
  • Fixed an issue where invention and copy materials were not updated correctly when changing values of items in the shopping list.
  • Items that have components built with components (e.g. Jump freighters) now display the correct amount of materials to build all levels of components on the BP list. The lists will now contain the correct amount of buy materials, and the raw and component costs for all levels and will be the same when using build/buy.
  • Made a small adjustment to build/buy calculations to take into account the total build cost of the component (usage, etc) instead of just the material cost for making a build or buy determination.
  • User settings (Default ME/TE and Suggest Build BP if Not Owned) were sometimes not set correctly in blueprint calculations; this has been corrected.
  • Changed all forms to use DPI scaling so that users with 125% and 150% scaling set to their version of windows won't see overlapping controls and poor quality. Note: Users of Chinese Windows may still experience issues with overlapping controls. Anyone that has an issue with this, please send me a screenshot and details of your settings.
  • Updated error on Industry Upgrade Belts tool that gave incorrect ore volume values resulting in overly high IPH rates per belt.
  • Updated ores in the Industry Upgrade Belts tool to be correct with the asteroids and total quantity in the belts.
  • The Compress Ore check will now use compressed ore prices for determining IPH in the Industry Upgrade Belts tool

There are some serious shopping list issues in the new build.

Build 3.1.5671.35252

I would like to preface this by saying that I "multi-add" multiple builds of an item by clicking the "Add to Shopping List" button multiple times. I do this to calculate the "worst case" scenario when building ships and to make sure I don't get any small savings taken into account (T2 ships).

E.g. I click "Add" 5x if I'm planning on building 5x ships so the materials are added to mimic a 5x1 (runs/build per run) setting instead of a 5x(5/max runs on invented bpc) setting that IPH has started to default to since a few builds ago.

Anyways, when you do this, you end up with a screenshot like this:
http://puu.sh/iZuGa/02d47b2fd2.png

Now, I was fine with this, I don't really mind them being split into pairs (even though I couldn't understand why a pair (quantity = 2) was being picked since it has no significance I can think of (not the runs on the invented bpc, not 1 for each time I clicked add, etc) (the latter by the way would be really nice to have so I can visually confirm that the materials are being calculated on a 1-run basis and not being mistakenly lumped together into a multi-run setting that would result in unwanted material savings).

What I'm not fine with is what happens when you click the "Copy List" button. You end up with output that looks like:

Shopping List for:

That is the list from the screenshot. As you can see...there is absolutely no mention of the actual ship being built in the "List For" section up top.

This isn't an edge case either. I tried adding in tons of component tasks like the following screenshot:

Just to say thanks for all the hard work you put into this, it's appreciated by many lurkers like me.

I have how ever run into a problem.

I think it was Monday when i fired up IPH that i started getting an error while starting.

Initially comes up with "An error occurred while downloading update file", then gives an information box stating "Unable to run update at this time. Please try later".

Going through these it did load up. So i went to your link in your sig to download the latest and install it. I still get the errors appearing and in About Eve IPH it says i have Version 3.1.5671.15106 which by the looks of it is an old version.

Is there a newer version and how do i get it?

I sent you a mail on this but not sure why that version is up. Try deleting the LatestVersion.xml file to get a full update first. That should take care of any issues. If there is an error on update, try it again as I had an issue with the updater awhile back that needs to update and you'll get that error. Other than that, try the new website to download a fresh instal: http://eveiph.github.io/ Save your blueprints first if you don't want to lose that data.
