SOV Abuse on SISI?

There is a Coporation / Alliance , that has gone about in multiple regions where they do not own SOV on TQ, and claimed entire regions of space, thus prohibiting existing TQ owners and other small groups from any sort of testing.
They did this right after the last copy

I see no purpose in their ownership of this much space on SISI

Is this allowed?

Yes I can post screen shots etc, but that is no use if they are allowed to do this.

just take the space back?

maybe it just for fun to see how mutch sov they can get, i have thought of taking some system just to try it but im to lazy to read how u take systems

As you can see below, "Taking" SOV by force is against the rules, I would be happy to do that, but it makes me a violator


RULES CONCERNING SOV, STARBASES AND CONQUERABLE STATIONS

The first person to put up a TCU (Territorial Claim Unit) and start bringing it online in an unclaimed system (that has no sovereignty) is entitled to hold sovereignty in that system.

Exceptions from the above rule: If the sovereignty claiming is done with malicious intent, i.e. to disrupt other players' testing, the right to sovereignty is void.

If the sovereignty-claiming TCU should go offline, the player loses the right to claim sovereignty in that system after the system becomes unclaimed again.

Anchoring or attempting to online a SBU (Sovereignty Blockade Unit) without consent from the sovereignty-holding entity is classed as griefing, disrupting of the test server and non-consensual combat.

Claiming sovereignty in a system already claimed by another alliance is classed as griefing, disrupting of the test server and non-consensual combat.

It basicly is free for all after a new mirror, as long as you're the first one to take sov in that system.

But the OP is right, there is no real reason behind taking 10+ systems for yourself, and anyone doing this is most likely out to troll. Same goes for this sensless spamming of towers in the combat systems, usually being Nofun droping large Towers at every Moon just because.

It's called being sisi-troll-warriors. CCP doesn't care, no one really 'punishes' rule breakers on SISI.

Heck iv seen a titan tacked on station and die... ISD was actually there just telling people to stop shooting, that's it Roll

I think you're touching on the basic premise of timers, and the requirement to be there. I don't recall any rule that said all of Sisi was a glass case, "don't touch." I recently bashed a constellation looking for a super to play with. If you dislike the idea of someone playing with your mirrored infrastructure, show up. Also maybe don't have CSAA and X-Large SMAs at every tower in the constellation.

No Infrastructure gets mirrored,

Bashing anyones crap without permission is against the rules.



That Being Said: OP if they're taking large amounts of Sov it could fall under the greifing rule included in the Sov rules and their claim to sov is moot

whoops. I was out there for like a week. That's a really long time to be afk. I'm guessing I got reported, but I'm still able to log in to Sisi. I should have taken screenshots of those towers, they were littered with one-way freighters. We flipped all the things... It was an old mirror so maybe I'm off the hook.

Owner has to report it afaik. He probably didn't noticed you if you flipped everything...

Wild guess but,

*I conquered this system because I wanted to test entosis links annd to test things where I live on TQ* should be a perfectly valid reason. Reason dictates that the attacked group can conduct their testing with 78 systems just as good as with 79, so just go for it.

From history, breaking a rule on SiSi and asking forgiveness does work, asking for persmission never does.
