Funny the new Circadian Seekers

Yesterday evening, after I took a break from game for a couple of months, I was flying around in my Gila, running anoms when I saw some Circadians Seekers... Like before my break, I start shooting them to waste some missiles... They shooted back twice then I was dead...

CCP should know that not every player read the last 500 patch notes when coming back from break... Wasted a 1.4B's Gila+mods... Was not enough rich to buy another + fit, so I've sold my tengu... At least, people who took my A-Types mods have been happy I guess :P

Then someone told me they have now a memory of us who have shoot them... This game is getting boring... I've been shot web-scram-and neut I think so not able to rush back the gate... You know the feeling when concord kill you real quick... The seekers do the same thing and at same speed... 2 shots you're dead...

Never fly what you can afford to loose... MmmmKay :P But don't shoot the Seekers that's the best advice I can give to the people who like me take breaks from eve from time to time...

It would be nice to have a post for only major chances for a quick read for people who take breaks from time to time... Not everyone is ready to take 6 hours to look at the last 500 patch notes when coming back damn...

Best regards

P.S.: I know trolls will comment like usuall so I won't respond to those ones :P

Are you sure there were seekers and not drifters?
If they were seekers, i'd like to see your fit.

Aye, Sea Turtles

well maybe drifters but didn't looked the names, and with the new icons in overview, I don't see the difference anymore between BS rats and Cruisers/BC

Fitting was:

High power
1x Sisters Core Probe Launcher
3x Rapid Light Missile Launcher II
1x Drone Link Augmentor II
Medium power
1x Pithum A-Type Medium Shield Booster
1x Gistum A-Type 50MN Microwarpdrive
1x Sensor Booster II
1x Pithum A-Type Thermic Dissipation Amplifier
2x Pithum A-Type Kinetic Deflection Amplifier
Low power
4x Drone Damage Amplifier II
Rig Slot
1x Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II
2x Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Charges
4 989x Guristas Scourge Light Missile
Drones
6x Salvage Drone I
7x Vespa II

+16 RSS core probes

well now I know I'm better to fit in t2 :) not wasting isk anymore :D

Let me tell you about the time I lost my ship because of a game mechanic I didn't read or know about at that time.

So you shot at it expecting easy game and got your ass handed to you for that. Seems fine to me! Lol

How is your failing to gain necessary knowledge in a game that depends on player knowledge CCPs fault? I've taken a couple breaks (usually unintentional, when moving, when on a special assignment ect) and the 1st thing i do is read up on changes.

That's why I wasn't surprised when i warped to a forsaken hub and saw npc frigates in the 4th spawn/wave . I knew about them but didn't prepare (making it MY FAULT) and lost a ratting Dominix to some guys in Cynabals. Because I knew the mistake was mine, I had zero compunction to make a butt hurt post on these forums blaming CCP for my lack of fore-thought.

As long as I live I will always find it amazing how people need to deflect blame for even small mistakes they are responsible for (even in a video game), it's as if people don't understand that taking responsibility for your own mistakes is what makes you better and thus less likely to experience the same mistake again. Always making it about someone else is a sure path to repeating the same BS later, because you don't have to get better when it's someone else's faults.

See, even you know it is ultimately your fault for your loss, or at least your fault for not expecting your Glia to explode. "Don't fly what you cannot afford to lose" is the first lesson that is drilled into you, in part so losses don't hurt so much that players feel the need to come cry on the forums like you just did.

Eve has been too safe and too predictable for far too long. CCP is shaking up the snow globe and players of all sorts, from the largest coalitions to the most risk-averse highsec carebear, are going to start losing things more often. CCP has re-learned that destruction is the key to a vibrant game - kills, conflict, the economy, and thus player interest - and has been slowly tightening the screws on increasing risk everywhere. Drifters just started warp scrambling, soon will be podding players, and then only CCP knows what else, leaving a trail of destruction through what players like you think of as "safe sec". It will be glorious.

Hi wasn't dd hi was in cruiser hull normal drifter weapons will two shoot you...I almost lost loki that way...well I did but not at that time.

I like new drifters even if they did cost me 1.1bill by me underestimating them they do matter in new eden compared to sasha rats or any other rat spawned in certain location to fill ppl wallets....

At least sasha rats while in incursion should act same as drifters do roaming and effing ppl up.

NPCs are too easy = tears

CCP bumps the difficulty

NPCs are too hard = ?!?!

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Your lack of knowledge is no ones fault but your own.

Killing a certain number of Circadian Seekers/Drifters will spawn another wave of either Seekers.... or Drifters.
You started killing Circadians, Drifters spawned, auto-aggressed, and you unfortunately lost your ship (along with many others).

I suppose the patch notes don't really mention about how OP the new NPC stats are becoming, but who doesn't research an NPC they don't know before shooting it?

Inserting one-shot NPC pwnmobiles into hisec space was certainly an... interesting choice. I don't think any other MMO would be able to get away with stuff like this. I'm surprised there hasn't been more rage on the forums about it. The explosions in the ghost sites were a somewhat similar 'edgy CCP mechanic'. I'm sure a ton of noobs have died to those because they didn't research online before jumping in. Silly noobs, thinking games are meant to be played, and not studied via 3rd party websites. Roll
