Hello folks....

I'm new to Guristas space so I was looking for the best ratting ship in Gurista space.
Most of posts I found claim that the Vindicator is the best ratting ship for the job so I tried to figure out a fitting but I'm not satisfied with the outcome:

Armor:
[Vindicator, VindiAM]

8x Neutron Blaster Cannon II (Void L)

2x Federation Navy Tracking Computer (Tracking Speed Script)
2x Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
Core C-Type 100MN Microwarpdrive

4x Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Core A-Type Large Armor Repairer
2x True Sansha Armor Kinetic Hardener

Large Capacitor Control Circuit II
Large Hybrid Metastasis Adjuster II
Large Trimark Armor Pump I

5x Wasp II

3x Void L

Shield:
[Vindicator, Vindi]

8x Neutron Blaster Cannon II (Void L)

2x Gistum C-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Field
Federation Navy Stasis Webifier
Core C-Type 100MN Microwarpdrive
Gist A-Type X-Large Shield Booster

4x Federation Navy Magnetic Field Stabilizer
3x Republic Fleet Tracking Enhancer

Large Capacitor Control Circuit II
2x Large Capacitor Control Circuit I

5x Wasp II

3x Void L

I tried to fly without Microwarpdrive but when just one rat escapes it could become a neverending story. :D

Maybe someone has any good advice what I could do better?Ugh

you may wish to stack some Thermal resists in there along with the Kinetic (Guristas to Kin/Thermal)

i'd also suggest perhaps dropping one of the webs and one or both of the tracking computers in favour of some Cap Rechargers.

You can probably get away with only three mag-stabs in the lows due to Stacking Penalties.

Perhaps 4x Wasps and a flight of light drones for chasing down Frigates?

Thanks for your advice....

As much as I know the damage Guristas make is divided into Kinetic (79%) / Thermal (18%).

I had some termal resis but didn't notice a lot of difference....

Dropping the tracking computers may be an option but without any tracking bonus I'm afraid the damage will be much worse. I will give it a try.

TP in place of the second TC, and Aux Pump swapped for the Trimark one. P

For a shield setup, a Large or even a Medium Deadspace booster, perhaps with an Amp, should suffice, freeing up rig slots for something else.

To give you proper advice and potentially a helping hand it is important to know which systems precisely you prefer and during what time you are usually doing your activities......

Honestly, you do realize that you just made some people's watch list?

Drop the 4th magstab, the additional damage is heavily reduced by stacking penalties. Use the slot you freed up for a Damage control. Seriously, no damage control on a Gallente-based ship is a massive no-no.

An XL shield booster is probably overkill. Since you'd likely only ever pulse an XL, consider downgrading to a large and just running it longer; this will free up a considerable chunk of PG and CPU (not that you really need it) and make cap management less of an issue.

Oh, and just a friendly piece of advice, I would seriously watch your back for a while. You just broadcast to the world that you're ratting in nullsec in a rather expensive ship and a quick search of your corp, combined the fact that you're ratting against Guristas, shows that you'd likely be active in Geminate. It probably wouldn't be too hard for someone of the right...disposition to find you and gank you.
