So it's patch day, and once again the Eve Launcher is BLOCKING THE WEB

I came home today, and fired up the Eve Launcher, and all seemed well. It dowloaded a relatively small file, 24mb or so, quickly, and was in the process of applying a patch of some sort, so I decided to kill some time looking for brakes for my truck.

Open the web page, search for brakes, and get to the "engine type" selection for my vehicle, when the plugin freezes... Just sits there, no options for engine size. I get a little irked, close the page, try and re-open it... nothing... I am about to check my router/modem, when I remember that I have the Eve Launcher running in the background...

Lo, and behold... The launcher is STUCK downloading a large patch file. It's sitting at about mere 200KB of god-knows what(35.85MB), and it has BLOCKED MY INTERNET CONNECTION. Closed the launcher, and *POOF*, the internet is back, instantly.

When the launcher was first opened, I had the option to log in, and saw the tranq status just fine. Now that the initial smaller patch has been applied I can no longer even see the Tranq server status. The launcher freezes almost as soon as it starts to downlaod, and my internet connection gets blocked. The launcher also takes AGES to close. About 50% of the time Windows tags it as unresponsive, and wants me to force close it. My internet connection(web browsers) remains unresponsive until it actually closes.

What the ****? Seriously. I have read all the crap about certain providers having issues accessing the eve content servers, but like HELL are they blocking me from accessing the entire internet just because I chose to run the Eve Launcher. The launcher is the problem... It is screwing with SOMEthing.

I, at least, want SOME kind of acknowledgment from CCP that this issue is known, or being looked at, or anything. It seems to get lumped in with the other crap, when it is clearly different. The two may be linked, but I have found no posts indicating a similar symptom while being unable to use the launcher.

I have just re-activated 3 accounts, and every time there is a patch I cannot play the game for days. Not only that, I can't even access the web while ATTEMPTING to connect to Eve, or download the patch.

If I don't get some kind of response, I will not be renewing at the end of my 30 days. As it stands I have lost nearly 4 days of the 12 or so I have paid for.

No, ********, I am paying for a product and not getting it, nor am I getting support for it. The only reason things get better is because people demand it. How hard would YOU work if no one ever demanded better of you?

I have posted quite a bit of information already in my prior topics, including information regarding traces while the launcher is active and closed.
