I also like to point out that in just about any University the ones who work the hardest also party the hardest, and the more intelligent the person the crazier the ideas they come up with.

While I was attending the University of Caille I noticed almost precisely the opposite. The ones who party the hardest simply spent the longest at parties, doing Crash, talking about how hard they were supposedly working.

If you tend to hang around at a lot of parties doing Crash then I understand how the misunderstanding might take place.

From my experience the ones who are almost reclusive throughout the semesters tend to be the ones who devise the flashiest pyrotechnics and fabricate the most ingenious beer dispensers for the after-exam parties.

Then again different academic institutions probably have different cultures.

No, that's probably truer in my experience. Work hard and then play hard, but it's way more difficult to work and play hard at the same time.

One cannot do two things at once and be good at both. Unless it's a capsuleer controlling multiple subsystems without consciously thinking about it.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

"Free" and "frank" discussion within the confines of reasonable conduct expectation, as most things go in the Federation.

See, there's a mischaracterization of the Federation that runs rampant among those outside of it that assumes because it stands for "liberty" and "freedom" that it's basically a chaotic catastrophe of anarchy barely held in check by the presence of groups like the SDII or the police.

The fact is quite the opposite. The Federation would be more easily characterized as "everything in moderation" as there are reasonable expectations and laws to govern equitable treatment, conduct and consideration for your fellow man and for the institutions and businesses that compose the society around you.

People who think the Federation is some universal hotbed of constant decadence, unmitigated debauchery and endless bacchanalia have clearly never visited the Federation. Federation citizens are, on average, generally richer than the citizens of the other three major nations. Sure, the average Federation wage worker lives in abject poverty compared to, say, a highly-renowned Amarrian Holder or a Caldari executive, but the average citizen tends to have more money and in addition the Federation provides more services for free.

This allows a lot more space for the development of personal style and the pursuit of personal interests.

Oh, but they have visited the Federation.

But, crucially, only the touristy bits of it.

The ones that have all that decadence and whatnots, as part of their touristy thing.

The Federation is a victim of its own success, as it were.

Thanks to the vast publicity machines of the Coriault Couture Collective and the Mannar Textile Institute, most people in the cluster that are aware of the Gallente people, think that they all dress in translucent plastic dresses with rainbow holo projectors. And the women wear something even more extravagant.

Of course, if they actually visit the Federation, they'll find that many people do, in fact, wear trousers made of actual cloth.

Tres ordinaire, or as the Gallente would say, very ordinary.

And that is why the Federation must be destroyed.

Furthermore, wahahahahahahaaaahahahahaaahahaahaa !

I'm pretty sure the whole plastic dress thing was a joke between two designers, it was just that some of the more drug addled fashionistas thought they were serious...

One gallentean student should become a unit of stupidity.

I endorse this notion. It should be equivalent to exactly one-fourth of one Diana Kim on the scale.

Merde, another conversion rate to learn. Please don't pass this notion on to your former colleagues, Seigneur.
