EVE Museum is a public non-profit company and hereby proudly announces its first public share sale. EVE Museum has the function of buying, preserving and exhibiting legacy ships and artefacts.

CistaCista (aka Cista2) is ceo of the museum. The museum is public in the sense that all transactions are publicly known. Assets are however in my control and shareholders have no ownership over the assets..
Public api keys of both CistaCista and the corp can be seen on the webpage.

Finances of the company: please see latest financial report. The actives have an estimated worth of 133 bn with current liabilities at 30 bn.

1,000 shares are sold @ 20 mil isk per share. There are 9,000 other shares that are not on sale.
Dividends are paid in the beginning of each month after the financial report from the accountant of the museum. At this point 50% of current CistaCista wallet size will be paid as dividends to the 10,000 shares - in other words, 5% to the 1,000 shares that are on sale today.

Send the money for shares to the EVE Museum corporation. You can buy any number between 1 and 200 shares.

As alternative to buying shares, you could also donate money to the museum, or give the museum a loan with no interest rate.

FAQ

Will investors get any measurable money out of buying shares?
Yes, you will get dividends each month. The size of the dividends is unpredictable, as the wallet size will go down when artefacts are bought. Wallet structures explained.

But how much will I get?
As an example: with 20 bn in the CC wallet, each share would receive 1 mil isk per month. It is not unrealistic that the wallet will hold more than that over time, since to buy e.g. an Alliance Tournament ship for 80 bn, the two wallets would need to hold 160 bn combined.

If more shares are sold later, will that lessen my dividends?
No.

Where does the dividend money come from?
Dividend money comes exclusively from the trading profits of Cista2. Dividends and interests are not paid with money from sale of shares, nor with money from donations. Your money is guaranteed to go for purchasing artefacts.

If this is non-profit, why then sell shares and give money away?
It’s mostly about publicity. I want to offer the choice between shares and donation. With shares comes a guarantee of return of money, and also some responsibility. Shareholders can block new loans, block new share sales, and decide on all changes of governance. Only you, the public shareholders, will take part in these votes.

How are the museum assets and the money of shareholders secured?
There is no security for shareholders. Only the public reputation of Cista2.

Are the trading results of Cista2 public?
No

Does Cista2/CistaCista have any other unsecured liabilities?
Yes, currently 54 bn in public bonds on Cista2. Now that shares are being sold, there will be no more new bonds - the current bonds will continue for now, as long as those investors wish.

If I don’t want my shares anymore, can I get my money back?
Certainly. Buyback is at 20 mil isk, but you can probably get more if selling them later. Btw shares are anonymous, so never send them to me before agreed!

When will the museum be open for visitors?
Later. I want a bit more attractive items before advertising it on other forums. But it could be opened for single visitors before advertising it.

Do I get anything out of a donation?
Yes! To rouse that charity spirit, a museum hall (= corp division) or museum gallery (= station container) will in fact be named after each of the donors. (Not shareholders). You can donate as little as 1,000 isk - money should be sent to the EVE Museum corporation. Donors can pick which museum hall they want their name on, until someone donates a larger sum.

You can also donate items, and in that case each item or ship will be tagged with the info of who was behind the donation.

Bought a share and made a couple donations to the Museum that I thought would be worthy. I really like the concept, hopefully can keep this one going.

Share has been sent. This marks the passing of a landmark, since from now on no changes in governance of the museum can be made without a shareholder vote. I am pretty excited :)
