Ship Assembly Array's and Corp member usage

All,
I am trying to setup a POS with a ship assembly array in High sec for corp member usage. I keep running into the problem that it tells corp members that they do not have permissions to use them when they try to build ships. I have configured Access on the tower for the assembly array to corporation and the Ship Maintenance Array is configured the same way. Problem is that corp members still are receiving the message that they do not have permissions and therefor they are unable to build ships...

Can Corp members use Ship Assembly arrays to build ships in a POS?
If so is there something I am missing in my permission setup?
Or is this just broken all together?

Thanks!

Do they have the factory manager corp role?

No as that would allow them to manipulate Corp related jobs which we do not want normal corp member the ability to do... unless I do not understand that role correctly

You can only install corp jobs at a POS, so you have to allow members to "manipulate" corp jobs to allow them to use it. Which is a part of why so much industry is done by individuals or small groups of highly trusted individuals.

What Tau says in that post, about using Titles for management of roles is spot on.

I currently do use Title's for managing permissions as it aligns closely to groups and nesting groups in some tech permission schema's... so I get that part

I will do some testing with the job cancellation that Tau mentioned because if that is the case then that reduces some of my concern however that does still leave the fact that anyone with those roles can deliver a job... and setting up titles for different divisional access for product delivery can get really messy quickly...

Not sure I understand the thought process behind POS's being designed that the industrial aspects where meant only to be CORP owned... I would think that corporations would want to leverage POS's to provide services and value to it's members at the same time the Corp could leverage it's POS's as revenue streams... considering indy revenue streams are hard enough for a corp to generate from it's indy members... outside of them voluntarily giving it up you really can't extract taxes or anything from them.

The POS code is so old, and so messed-up that CCP is just going to throw it away... eventually (years, or never).

You can reserve the factory manager role, but then you have to have people assigned to the job of delivering completed jobs, then the completed items, on at least a daily basis (and preferably on-request as well). It is a major hassle.

EDIT: Almost forgot, you can set a usage tax on facilities. Right-click, and select Configure Facility.
