Should C13 wormholes get changed?

The idea of C13 wormholes sounded nice in the beginning. But at the moment they seem to serve mainly as farming ground for Confessor pilots, while collecting Ore anomalies nobody wants. Would it make sense to change their mechanics? If yes, what would you suggest?

At this point probably yes. You can then it into a normal shattered wormhole without the frig part.

Yep. I would like to see C13's changed to a variety of C6-strength effects.

C6 Pulsar Worm + Burst fleets, anyone?
C6 Magnetar Sentry Tristan fascism! (that's 160 DPS btw )
C6 Black Hole jackdaw hegemony (soon with the missile computers....250km firing light missiles!).
C6 Cat RR navitas dominance ( 6 navi's = 750 DPS RR tank!)
C6 RG smartbomb coercer hoo-hah (128 DPS, 960 alpha to 6km!), or OH Rail Cormorant/hecate burner gank fleets.

Instead, it's all Confessor farms. Boooring. Zzzzzz.

128 DPs, but 960 alpha with a 6km radius, and 31K EHP versus its own bombs. So you'd be fine using up to, say, 15 of these for blitzkrieg bombing runs. At 3.5M a pop you'd tackle something, hold it with webs, and warp your gang on top of the hapless foe.

or just camp the wormhole / bubble. Maybe fit a cloak and lurk a relic can / pot plant, and wait for victims.

meh frig holes are great, if you dont like them dont jump through them.

They helped us once, and caused some issues a second time, while 50/50 its still positive for the game having annoying small holes people cant close. and are thus to lazy to jump through and scan out.

I've only found them useful for unsuspecting ganking, otherwise if you go fight you have no escalation option beyond bring more numbers, so if your enemy out ships you then it sucks.

Frig holes still deter effortless cap escalations as it allows bomber fleets to slip in. I personally dont mind them.

Last time we did that in a bomber fleet they warped in something like 5 carriers to help the caps and subcaps that were alrdy on field. All these balls just cos they knew / found out it was a frig hole and a pack of bombers would never break such reps.
So yes ccp delete frig holes pls thx

100% delete the damn frig holes. Worst thing that happened to WH space was making every darn WH in the game a freeway intersection for Asteros and Herons.

It was a try at a concept, but they are just too few and too scattered to be of any use.

Other things have to change prior to frig hole changes.

Before the frig wormholes, a small group of people would be able to take on a larger group's home wormhole, by collapsing them out while they are carebearing/roaming in the static/incoming wh's.
Frigate wormholes combined with fozzie interceptors removed that option (if you are lucky/unlucky that one has spawned).
What is the point of wasting hours/days on focusing to collapse out/pod enemies, if they can easily come back through a frigate wormhole.

All wormholes should be able to be collapsed, even if it takes 20 toons multiple hours to do so, otherwise you are just taking yet another perk of wormhole space (wh control) out of the game.

A lot of you are looking at this through the eyes of PVP and fight escalations. I don't think that's the point of frig holes.

Frigate holes are ideal for manufacturing, gas refining (drugs/tech III) and mining. The sites provide easily enough cash to keep a medium tower or two running without fear of the moros popping over for a stront check. Wormholes are also a hell of a lot safer than k-space (in my opinion). As soon as you can fly a drake (ish), the game really opens up for you.

It's also a nice jumping off point for exploration.

The added bonus is that it's a gateway drug to the higher class wormholes.

You may not enjoy those aspects of the game but they are aspects.
