EVE Museum financial report #2 - now with accountant!

I have had the great fortune to persuade Magnu Stormhawk into being the accountant for the museum. As some of you may remember, Magnu is a veteran MD citizen who also happens to be a RL accountant!

So, while Magnu has been pulling his grey hairs out over my “inimitable” approach to financial responsibility, I can concentrate on buying.

With this also comes a change in schedules, as Magnu wishes to do accounting for full months. His first numbers will therefore be posted on the forum after we enter July.

I plan to hold a share sale after that, but my RL situation is bumpy in the near term, so the sale could be postponed to later in the summer.

Value of artefact assets: 133 billion ISK

Net assets of Museum: 115 billion ISK

June artefact aquisitions: 32 billion ISK


Notes:

1. Accounting policies and presentation are a work in progress, as the plans, transactions and governance structure evolves.
2. For those of you familiar with Cista2's interesting approach to structuring business ventures, you will probably appreciate that applying normal commercial and accounting concepts to reporting is not necessarily an easy task. So bear with me.
3. I'm happy to answer any questions on the reporting. Cista can answer any questions on structure, governance and operation.
4. I don't really have grey hair, as Cista suggests above. Well, maybe a couple, but they are like hot maturing male type grey hairs.
