So yesterday was Canada day and oh what a day in wh space it was for two Canadian wh noobs. We are a two man c2 based corp that are learning about wh life and doing our best to make some iskies and have some fun in w-space. Since we had the day off yesterday we were pleased to find a shattered hole open up for us so we quickly got to mining the many gas sites that we found. Two core gas sites netted us about 200 mill isk, not bad for dudes like us! Here comes the best part.

We shat our pants when, or at least I did, when we spotted a legion on D. My first instinct was to run and hide in our safe bubbled tower but my RL bud decided he wanted to try and find our new friend in his pilgrim. We engaged him on a hole exit and he got away and then 10 mins later he was back and my buddy found him about 30 off another hole. He snuck up on him in his cloaked pilgrim and nabbed him and we melted his legion. My buddy said it took about an hour for his adrenaline rush to wear off and I was pretty pumped too, it left a smile on my face all day.

This may be small potatoes to some of you big wh corps but for us it was glorious! Had to share.

Congrats, always good to see new people in wh space and just carebearing.

good job! you smashed nice one. in fact the guy snacktalked and intimidated you as many do. he wont kick you out of wormhole .

Also if he had a scanner in their system wouldn't he know if the towers were well defended? Null sec bears... never change.

One of the things I love about WH Space. No matter how many big entities there are, there's always small people just about scraping by having one hell of a time.
