Just floating an idea...


The drifters are amassing to invade empire space , Concord has stated they want to make sure everyone is combat ready and capable of defending themselves against this threat...

They have opened various arena's around high sec where capsuleers can enter various classes of ships and battle against each other in solo competition ( ship size ranging from frigates to battleships )

Also small fleet versions similar to the alliance tournament where 5 vs 5 / 10 vs 10 can fight.

Various Concord rewards / novelty items for winning and and isk per ship entry based on ship size with the purse going to the winners and a monthly tournament with the alliance tournament being the annnual spectacle tournament


Benefits..

Anyone looking to practice pvp without fear of blob / 2 vs 1 etc
People looking for good fights where ships are evenly matched.

Opinions please...

Can you not set up a corp to do this? have private duels where the rewards come from a pot that all involved donate too? or better yet stream it, people donate all sorts for some strange reason.
I don't think we need CCP to set this up, I think you need to take the initiative,

This idea gets floated on an average of once every few months.

The arguments are the same: it goes against the core principle of the game.

Dueling is as close as you can get.
