If so, how can this happen and/or be fixed?

Can be fixed by paying more attention to what you're doing. It takes two very deliberate clicks to activate any KR.

Congratulations, you've found the KB of my forum-alt.

To give more feedback, because the activation system is designed to prevent use against a person's will, there are no accidental activations. 100% of the use has been deliberate intent. Nothing is broken, so nothing needs fixing.

Whether an activation was a smart (or a dumb-as-****) move is player decision.

I turned on who has killrights on them on my overview, and found out killright scamming is a VERY common thing.

I even tried to gank a killright scammer to teach him a lesson, only to fail and give him a 15 mill killright on me.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

I always give my killrights away for free. Why would anyone pay for a killright?
