Or move to anywhere outside of the empire where none of this matters.

I doubt very much that this is a solution that will work for the majority of New Eden.

I am glad that I was able to attend most of this conference and hope we can make a difference.
For now at least... These proposals may be needed.

I fear that with recent events, we are even more needing of them.

You have a keen eye for salient details Mrs. Vikarion.

Vikarion wrote:
As for the Minmatar Republic being able to support their own population again in numbers, because they could afford to construct the Elder's fleets, I will simply point out that the funds to construct those fleets were, interestingly enough, probably appropriated aid payments from the Federation. As those payments were intended to build up infrastructure in the Republic so that it could stand on its own as a functioning nation, I suspect that the Federation will be reluctant to repeat them.

You would be entirely correct. The tribals have proven to be at best perfidious allies.

Vikarion wrote:
Lastly, given the Abel Jarek affair, I suspect that many Minmatar will never desire peace with the Empire. There are, roughly, more Minmatar in the Empire than in the Republic to begin with. Even if abolition were enacted, no one has yet demonstrated how a nation might assimilate a larger population than its own. I suspect the next demand might be for Imperial planets and systems, to accommodate the population.

Not to mention those Matar who reside in the Federation in various legal states. The current regime within the tribal entity might consider caring for its own before seeking to “free” others.

Fellow Capsuleers,

Some weeks have passed since the Pakhshi Peace Conference released its final resolution. New Eden moves on and we are faced with new unimaginable discoveries, hostilities, and threats seemingly every day. Written words and good will alone are quiet vulnerable to resignation, unless both are put to action.

Itsukame-Zainou Hyperspatial Inquiries Ltd. reviewed the PPC final draft critically in the light of our everyday corporate agenda. Not an easy task, as it appeared. We decided to share the results which we intend to implement as far as possible. Feel free to contact us if you would like to talk about cooperation on behalf of the PPC resolution.

Sincerely yours,

Haria Haritimado

It was the intention of at least some of the authors that the reconstruction of the Yulai Concord station and the conversion of the Caldari Memorial Station Ruin in Luminaire to a fully-operational station over Caldari Prime should be capsuleer-involved volunteer efforts of material gathering and construction similar to Arek'Jaalan's Site One.

Instead of letting our document fade into history, please allow us to move forward on these two construction projects.

EDIT: My personal proposal for the name of the newly rehabilitated station in Luminaire is: "Yanala Station".

Well, we're not using the term anymore, so if you folks want it, I can't imagine we'll take offense or anything.

I fully endorse this effort and would gladly contribute resources towards the reconstructions.

While I can offer no organized support from my alliance, if there is some assistance I can personally give in the restoration of the station over Caldari Prime, I am happy to give it. 'Home' is an important thing to a people.

Now there are three proposed capsuleer construction projects ... and no word from the powers-that-be ...

Pakhshi Peace Conference:

Yulai: Concord Bureau - restoration and expansion to include a cultural exchange center.

Luminair: Caldari Prime - movement (to orbit) and restoration to full functionality of the Caldari monument station ruins to Caldari Prime.

Petition to Eifyr & Co.:

Eram: Arek'Jaalan Site One - add dock functionality to the outpost so scientists can meet and exchange research materials.

I think Dutchgunner has a more precise Eram Site One request in the Petition to Eifyr & Co.

Could we please get some sort of response on these proposals? Thank you.

Edit: If one (or more) of the Gallente stations currently orbiting Caldari Prime and its moons could be moved to Gallente Prime to make room for the addition of the Caldari station, this would be most excellent and would be helpful for activities such as the Faire on Gallente Prime proposed by Lyn Farel.
